Peace and Life — Learning to Walk Spiritually Minded With Christ

A peaceful biblical encouragement about walking with Jesus through obstacles, learning spiritual-mindedness, and discovering the peace and life found in Christ through Romans 8:6.

Scripture Focus:

Matthew 5–7
Luke 11
2 Corinthians 1:17
1 Corinthians 4:8–10
Romans 8:6
Romans 12:2
Romans 13:8

This teaching began as a study through Matthew Chapter 7, but quickly revealed something deeper:

To truly understand Matthew 7, we must also understand the foundation being laid in Matthew 5 and Matthew 6.

Jesus was teaching far more than outward behavior — He was teaching transformation of the heart, discernment, prayer, humility, mercy, forgiveness, spiritual-mindedness, and how to walk with God in truth and love.

These connected Scriptures help reveal the bigger picture of learning to follow Christ not only outwardly, but inwardly through renewed thinking, spiritual growth, and the love of God working within us.

Lots of obstacles today, written in 2025 with smiles getting this video put together, but honestly… that also became part of the message.

Sometimes life itself teaches us how much we need the peace of God.

This video is a peaceful biblical encouragement about learning to walk spiritually minded with Jesus through everyday life, distractions, obstacles, and growth.

One verse I missed mentioning directly in the video — but deeply connects to the message — is:

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”— Romans 8:6

Jesus continues teaching us how to walk differently:

  • one step at a time,

  • one thought at a time,

  • one surrender at a time.

And honestly, learning to focus our heart and mind on Christ changes everything.

I pray this encouragement helps strengthen your faith, calm your spirit, and remind you that God is still with you through every obstacle along the journey.

With love in Christ,

Karen

A Personal Note

As this ministry continues growing, many of these teachings, devotionals, videos, and series are becoming deeply connected together.

Sometimes the links may not be perfectly organized yet…

—but Jesus is.

And honestly, that may be part of the journey itself.

Because learning to walk with Christ is often less about finding the perfect system and more about continuing to seek Him one step at a time.

So

wherever you begin here, my prayer is simply this:

that something in these teachings stirs your heart to know Jesus more deeply.

Maybe there is already something in your spirit you’ve been sensing about Him…

something you’ve wondered,

something you’ve felt,

something you’ve needed confirmation, understanding, healing, peace, or growth in.

And maybe the Holy Spirit is simply using these teachings as one more step along that journey.

So

take your time.

Pray.

Study the Scriptures.

Follow the peace of God.

And keep seeking Jesus.

Because He is faithful to reveal Himself to those who truly desire to know Him.
