Bridge Over a Lake

Why We’re Here”

Lamentations 3:22–23
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

Mission Statement / Welcome

Psalm 46

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Hope in Today Ministries, Inc. was founded with one desire: to bring real, present hope through Jesus Christ to anyone seeking light in their day.

This site is a peaceful place to pause — a space where you’ll find devotionals rooted in Scripture, audio and video messages of encouragement, and personal reflections meant to draw your heart closer to God.

Whether you are grieving, growing, or simply reaching for more of God's peace, this ministry was created to remind you that you are not alone. The presence of Jesus is here — in today — and He invites you to trust Him moment by moment.

Romans 15:13
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…”

You’ll find:

  • Written devotions to encourage your faith and speak truth to your heart

  • Audio messages and videos to bring comfort and clarity to your day

  • Prayer opportunities — you are invited to share your prayer needs

  • Resources to help you grow, reflect, and walk with Jesus

We believe in the power of God’s Word to heal, restore, and equip.

Thank you for being here.

May you find rest in His presence, hope in His promises, and peace in His voice today.

For the Hurting Heart

Whether you're grieving, growing, or simply needing peace, God always has a word especially for you that brings a perfect comfort — with His reassurance He will fight for you, you only have to keep your peace.   Exodus 14:14 has been a great comforting reminder to me when I need it; and I have lived long enough trusting God that I can testify to His Truth.

I share for two reasons:

1.  I sense it pleases God to share with you what God does for me, because ...

2.  What God does for me, He is willing and able to do for you too.

Jesus is the name we pray in.

Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you… I will help you.”

Final Blessing and Thank You

Thank you for being here…   May you find rest in His presence…

Matthew 11:28–29
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…”

Know this, you are invited to come and enter into His rest.

This is possible through and by your relationship with Jesus

🩵 From My Heart

Even creating this website has been an act of surrender—

not to impress anyone,
but to follow the quiet voice of Jesus.

What may seem small to others
has been an offering of love and obedience to God.

Because when faith becomes an offering—

His Presence becomes our reward.

And that’s what we truly need—

not a solution,
but our Savior with us.

May you continue to walk with Him—

not just for what He can do,
but because He has already given us
what we need:

Himself.

If something in your heart is stirring, don’t stop here.

Take one more step:

In June of 2025, although I have always known Jesus personally by the grace of God,
I realized… I needed to heal.

So I started here:

I asked Jesus, “I need to know who You are.”

Step by step, God healed my heart.
And if you seek Him, Jesus is willing to heal your heart too.

He delivers us from self—and from the emotions that toss us around
in so many forms of torment.

As I began taking action in faith—doing what I knew God was calling me to do—
I experienced the peace that surpasses all understanding.

And there is a word for this:

Deliverance.

My friend, if this is speaking to you, I invite you to join me on this journey.

🔗 Who Is Jesus?

Before anything else, everything begins with Him.

Not just knowing about Jesus—
but truly knowing who He is
and what He has done for you.

👉 Who Is Jesus?

The Lord has placed it on my heart that the next step will be learning about the Holy Spirit.

By faith, I am placing this here now,
and will link it in God’s timing.

🔗 Grow in Understanding: The Holy Spirit

Jesus did not leave us alone.

He sent the Holy Spirit—
to teach us, guide us, and lead us into all truth.

A Simple Invitation

“If you continue in My word…
then are you My disciples indeed;
and you shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.”
— John 8:31–32 (KJV)

Keep Walking

You don’t have to understand everything all at once.

Just take the next step.

He is faithful to lead you.

With love in Christ,
Karen

Hope in Today Ministries
…Jesus is never too busy to listen to me…
…and the same Jesus who meets me there is willing to meet you there too…
I have received Him in my heart as both Savior and Lord.

A Simple Note

I’m not here because I have all the answers.

I’m here because the Lord has been faithful to meet me—
and I’m simply sharing what He has shown me along the way.

If something you read here speaks to your heart,
take what is true and bring it before Him.

He is the One who teaches,
the One who leads,
and the One who makes all things clear.
