Bridge Over a Lake

Why We’re Here”

Lamentations 3:22–23
“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

Mission Statement / Welcome

Psalm 46

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Hope in Today Ministries, Inc. was founded with one desire: to bring real, present hope through Jesus Christ to anyone seeking light in their day.

This site is a peaceful place to pause — a space where you’ll find devotionals rooted in Scripture, audio and video messages of encouragement, and personal reflections meant to draw your heart closer to God.

Whether you are grieving, growing, or simply reaching for more of God's peace, this ministry was created to remind you that you are not alone. The presence of Jesus is here — in today — and He invites you to trust Him moment by moment.

Romans 15:13
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him…”

You’ll find:

  • Written devotions to encourage your faith and speak truth to your heart

  • Audio messages and videos to bring comfort and clarity to your day

  • Prayer opportunities — you are invited to share your prayer needs

  • Resources to help you grow, reflect, and walk with Jesus

We believe in the power of God’s Word to heal, restore, and equip.

Thank you for being here.

May you find rest in His presence, hope in His promises, and peace in His voice today.

What You’ll Find Here

(Coming Soon Offerings: devotions, audio, prayer opportunities, resources, etc.)

For the Hurting Heart

Whether you're grieving, growing, or simply needing peace, God always has a word especially for you that brings a perfect comfort — with His reassurance He will fight for you, you only have to keep your peace.   Exodus 14:14 has been a great comforting reminder to me when I need it; and I have lived long enough trusting God that I can testify to His Truth.

I share for two reasons:

1.  I sense it pleases God to share with you what God does for me, because ...

2.  What God does for me, He is willing and able to do for you too.

Jesus is the name we pray in.

Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you… I will help you.”

Final Blessing and Thank You

Thank you for being here…   May you find rest in His presence…

Matthew 11:28–29
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…”

Ideal for the last section, inviting the reader into rest and relationship with Jesus

My newest teaching video is now live on YouTube.

It’s raw, it’s real — and it’s prayerfully meant for someone God has on His heart today.

As I shared this new teaching, I was reminded of something the Lord has shown me over time: faith grows, but it remains the same faith.

The Freedoms in Christ: How Jesus Sets the Soul Free series reflects my current season of teaching — but along the way, the Lord gently led me to include two earlier videos created before this website ever existed.

One was recorded in 2015–2016, when I was first stepping out in faith, simply obeying and learning to trust God, day by day.

The other was shared a few years ago, during a season when the Lord was healing me and freeing me from pain that tried to turn loneliness into bondage.

Looking back, I see now: they were never separate stories — they were part of the same journey of faith, growth, and freedom in Christ.

Just like the parable Jesus shared:

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”
— Luke 15:8

Nothing God works through is ever lost — sometimes it’s simply waiting for the right time to be seen again.

Maybe you feel that way too: overlooked, out of season, or unsure where you belong.

But hear this:
You are not lost to God.
And if you seek Him, you will find Him.
