Day 6 — You’re Not Alone
The Presence That Walks Beside You
When You Don’t Recognize Him
By now, you’ve begun to walk.
You’ve seen.
You’ve surrendered.
You’ve begun to be healed.
But there are still moments—
when things don’t make sense.
Moments where you wonder:
“Where is God in this?”
The Road You Didn’t Expect
Let’s go to Luke 24.
Two disciples were walking on the road to Emmaus.
They had followed Jesus.
They had believed.
They had hoped.
And now—
they were walking away in sorrow.
Because what they expected—
didn’t happen the way they thought it would.
Right There
And yet—
Jesus was walking with them.
Step by step.
Listening.
Speaking.
Revealing truth.
But they didn’t recognize Him.
📖 “And their eyes were holden that they should not know him.” — Luke 24:16 (KJV)
When You Can’t See Clearly
Sometimes we don’t recognize His presence—
not because He isn’t there—
but because we don’t yet see clearly.
And in those moments—
He doesn’t leave.
He draws closer.
He walks with us in:
confusion
grief
questions
disappointment
Not to shame us—
but to lead us.
How He Reveals Himself
Jesus began to speak to them.
He opened the Scriptures.
He showed them truth—
before they fully understood.
And then—
📖 “And their eyes were opened, and they knew him…” — Luke 24:31 (KJV)
The Realization
Looking back—
they realized:
👉 He had been with them the entire time.
And this is often how it happens.
We don’t always recognize Him in the moment—
but we see Him clearly in the revealing.
You Are Not Alone
There may be places in your life—
where you have felt:
abandoned
confused
forgotten
But the truth is—
He has not left you.
He has been walking with you.
Even when you didn’t see Him.
Even when you didn’t understand.
A Moment to Be Honest is Always Now
Where have you questioned God’s presence?
Where have you wondered if He was really there?
Can you begin to see—
that He may have been closer than you realized?
The Invitation
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to see everything clearly.
You just have to keep walking with Him.
Because He is not behind you.
He is not waiting somewhere ahead.
He is with you.
A Quiet Realization
And as you continue to walk—
He will open your eyes.
Not all at once—
but in the right time.
You are not alone—
and you are not without guidance.
