When the Holy Spirit Stops You

Discernment, Boundaries, and Standing in Truth

💛 Day 6 — Heart Moment

When the Holy Spirit Stops You
Discernment, Boundaries, and Standing in Truth

Sometimes—

the Holy Spirit will stop you mid-thought.

Not just for your protection—

but to remind you:

👉 you are not alone in this.

When Something Feels Off

Recently, a man tried to play on my emotions.

At first, I couldn’t fully explain what felt off—

but I paused.

And I asked the Lord:

👉 “Show me what is true.”

And He did.

What the Spirit Led Me To Do

The Holy Spirit stirred something in me—

and as I was learning, the Lord has taught me

not to explain,
not to appease—

but to stand firm in truth.

I didn’t lash out.

I didn’t shrink back.

I set a boundary—

led by the Lord.

What I Learned

God was teaching me something deeper.

That moment—

was judgment flowing.

Not in anger—

but in clarity.

And righteousness followed:

peace
protection
assurance

I was not alone in confusion

I was walking with God.

What It Means to Walk by the Spirit

Walking by the Spirit is not just knowing right from wrong.

It is trusting Him
to guide you through the gray—

with grace.

A Truth You Need to Hear

If you’ve ever felt:

confused
pressured
or manipulated—

You are not wrong for pausing.

You are not wrong for stepping back.

That moment may have stung—

because you were leading with kindness.

But when kindness is met with manipulation—

it is not a reflection of your worth.

It is a test of your obedience.

What Happened Next

The man seemed surprised.

He was used to getting his way.

But this time—

I didn’t give in.

Because the Holy Spirit showed me the truth—

and helped me stand in it.

Not emotionally.

But faithfully.

The Truth About Boundaries

Caring does not mean compromising.

Kindness is not weakness.

Boundaries led by the Spirit
are not rejection—

they are protection.

Light in the Middle of It

God calls us to shine—

not to cave to pressure—

but to reflect His truth and strength.

📖 “The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” — John 1:5 (KJV)

📖 “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…” — Ephesians 6:14

📖 “But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.” — Amos 5:24

A Quiet Reminder

The Holy Spirit will guide you.

He will warn you.

He will strengthen you.

And when He does—

you don’t have to explain yourself to the world.

You only have to remain faithful to Him.

I hope this helps you open your heart to believe again.

May it bless you, as it has blessed me in the telling.

With love in Christ,
Karen
