You Realize You Have a Choice to Make.
And what you choose matters.
Jesus was the only One
who qualified.
He had to qualify—
fully human, just like we are.
📖 John 1:1 (KJV)
“In the beginning was the Word, and
the Word was with God, and
the Word was God.”
Jesus is the Word.
Jesus is the Truth.
Jesus is the Light.
And because of Jesus—
we can see.
Not just physically…
but spiritually.
We can receive our sight.
But what is it we long to see?
That… is the choice.
We need to be led—
📖 John 16:13 (KJV)
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth,
is come, he will guide you into
all truth…”
The Holy Spirit guides us into truth.
But life doesn’t always feel clear—
Because on our own—
we do not see clearly.
Nothing is simple… until
understanding comes.
In those moments, something is happening—
And many times in life—
we don’t see clearly in the middle of the trial.
We feel.
We react.
We try to make sense of what we're walking through.
This is where surrender begins—
And in those places—
we experience one of two things:
The presence of the Lord drawing us to Himself…
or
a reflection of what we already feel—
something familiar... something comfortable—
a mirror image of the life we’ve always known.
Even Jesus faced this—
Even Jesus was tempted in the wilderness.
Hunger—
“Turn these stones to bread.”
Testing—
“Cast Thyself down…”
Power—
“All the kingdoms of the world… if you bow.”
And every time—
Jesus answered:
“It is written.”
Truth is not what we feel—
Because truth is not found in what we feel—
but in what God has said.
This is the root issue—
Sin is the root condition of the human heart.
Not just sins—
but sin ...
the root that leads us to live apart from God.
But when we come to Jesus—
we begin to see.
And we learn something powerful:
The Choice is a Person—Jesus
We don’t trust our eyesight…
we follow His.
This is what it means—
When you see, you have a choice—
not because you have all
the answers,
but because you are learning to trust
the One who does.
The One who sees before…
during…
and after.
God is leading us somewhere—
God is leading us to something eternal—
a life with Him…
not separated…
not hiding…
but fully known.
And this is how we walk it out—
And as we begin by believing—
we continue by believing—
and we walk by faith.
So this is your invitation—
A relationship with God
is worth every surrender.
Every step.
Every letting go.
This is what this series is about.
Learning to see…
and choosing what we do
when we do.
When you begin to see…
you realize you have a choice to make.
