There was a moment recently where something didn’t sit right with me.
It felt unfair.
It felt unnecessary.
And if I’m being honest… it stirred something in me.
I could feel the pull to react.
To defend.
To justify.
To make sure it was seen clearly.
But in that moment…
The Lord didn’t correct the situation first.
He corrected me.
Not harshly.
Not condemning.
But clearly.
👉 “Don’t take offense.”
And that stopped me.
Because I realized something:
Offense doesn’t just come from what happens to us…
It comes from what is still unhealed within us.
That moment wasn’t just about what was done.
It revealed something deeper:
👉 There was still a place in me
that wanted to be justified…seen…understood…defended.
And Jesus was showing me a better way.
Not weakness.
Not ignoring truth.
But freedom.
Because offense keeps us tied to the moment.
But surrender releases it to God.
And I saw it clearly:
👉 I could be right…and still not be free.
So instead of holding onto it…
I released it.
Not because it didn’t matter.
But because He mattered more.
And that’s when peace came.
Not from fixing the situation…
But from letting God deal with what was in my heart.
✨ The truth
Troubled waters don’t create offense…
They reveal it.
And when we let Jesus deal with it—
We don’t just survive the moment…
We are changed by it.
I hope this helps you open your heart to believe again.
May it bless you, as it has blessed me in the telling.

(Let Scripture define what troubled, peace, grace, and the heart truly mean.)
👉 The Lord is teaching us His perfect flow:
Troubled Waters → Offense revealed → Heart transformed
And this:
When Jesus teaches us, “let not your heart be troubled,”
it is now a decision we have to make with the Lord.
Christ Jesus will help us.
He shines a light into the dark parts of our heart so that we can see.
And my friends… when we see, we have a choice.
👉 “And that choice is where transformation begins.”
Glory, Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus!
I hope this is a blessing to you,
as it is first today a blessing to me.
I pause to thank the Lord for helping me grow
and not leaving me the way I used to be.
And my friend, no matter where we are on our path with Jesus,
there is always more to learn about Him—who He is,
and who He knows we will become.
Let’s not delay.
Let’s be quick to hear, slow to respond,
and prayerful to respond with Christ
in all that we think, feel, and want to do.
This series is written because our pride can try to get in God’s way
when we know the truth
and are learning to walk in our freedom in Christ.
And in that…
we begin to grow.
