Day 5 – Let Him Refine You
God Is Working Within You

You’ve seen.

You’ve trusted.

You’ve moved.

You’ve stayed.

Now God begins to do something deeper:

He refines.

📖 Scripture Focus

“He is like a refiner’s fire…”
— Malachi 3:2

Refinement is not always comfortable.

It’s the process where God begins to remove
what doesn’t belong,
and strengthen what does.

Not to harm you—
but to shape you.

Sometimes it looks like pressure.

Sometimes it feels like stretching.

Sometimes it reveals things in your heart
you didn’t realize were there.

But this is not punishment.

This is preparation.

God is not trying to break you—

He is making you whole.

A pause for a personal perspective ~

Always remember and never forget the power of your mind returning to Jesus to say thank you Lord . . .

even before you know you are healed, you can be made whole and

be kept in perfect peace with Jesus.

Human emotions are not it . . .

The Gift of Peace with God is . . .

Refinement is where surrender deepens.

It’s where you stop resisting what God is doing,
and begin to trust His process.

Even when you don’t understand it.
Even when it feels uncomfortable.

Because He sees what you cannot.

A Pause to Paint a Picture ~

Like a tree growing tall and strong from the root system that becomes established in the ground . . .

You are still becoming all God knows you to be!

Glory be to God!

The glory of God on your life is the anointing of Christ in Jesus Name and a gift from God to be received.

The honor of God on your life is the positioning in Christ in Jesus Name to honor God in all you think, feel, do or say.

There are moments when God begins to deal with things within us—

attitudes,
fears,
attachments,
expectations.

And it can feel exposing.

But what He reveals,
He intends to heal.

And what He removes,
He is replacing with something better.

A pause for a personal revelation ~

(Emphasis mine)

Let God wash your feet - Like Peter said, not me Lord, but Jesus said

to the Church (Peter), if I do not wash your feet then you have no part in me.

Then, Peter said, Lord, then wash all of me.  And Jesus replied this is enough.

My friend, what Jesus is saying to me to tell you right in this moment,

is what Jesus has done for you is enough.

Let him cleanse your soul to receive all of Him.

And know this, Jesus already knew and predicted Peter's 3 denials and loved him anyway!

I believe this is one of the most powerful demonstrations of

the Resurrection of Jesus in purpose and in power of the love God has for you and me and the world ...

which is whosoever will believe.

I trust what God is doing within me.

I will not resist His refining.

He is shaping me with purpose.

Reflect & Respond

What has God been revealing in your heart lately?

Where have you felt resistance or discomfort?

What if that place is where He is refining you?

Ask Him to help you trust the process.

Prayer

Lord,

help me to trust Your refining work in my life.

When it feels uncomfortable,
remind me that You are shaping me, not harming me.

Give me a heart that is willing to surrender,
and trust You in every part of the process.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

What feels like pressure
may be God preparing you for something greater.
