Day 1 — See to Surrender
God Has Already Given You What You Need
The Healing We Really Need
Let’s go back to the story in Acts 3.
There was a man who couldn’t walk.
He had been lame from birth, and every day someone carried him and laid him at the gate
called Beautiful so he could beg.
He couldn’t help himself.
He couldn’t move forward on his own.
He was dependent—just to survive.
Then came Peter and John.
Two disciples of Jesus, walking into the temple.
The man looked at them…
expecting something.
But what he expected—
was not what he truly needed.
Peter looked at him and said:
📖 “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
— Acts 3:6 (KJV)
And then something happened that changed everything.
Peter didn’t just speak.
He reached out his hand—
and lifted him up.
And immediately—
his feet and ankles received strength.
Seeing What We Truly Need
The man was asking for money.
A temporary answer.
But through Jesus—
he received something greater:
healing, strength, and wholeness.
How often do we ask God
to meet what we want…
when He is ready to meet
what we actually need?
This Is Where We Begin to See
An infirmity is any weakness—
physical, emotional, or spiritual—
that keeps us from moving forward.
But Jesus meets us there.
Not only in what we can see—
but in what we don’t even know we need.
And this is where your Introduction meets this moment:
When you begin to see…
you realize you have a choice to make.
The Hand That Lifts
The man could not lift himself.
But through Jesus—
he was given strength he did not have.
They didn’t give him what he asked for.
They gave him what he needed.
📖 Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life…” — John 14:6
What we need is not just help—
we need Him.
The Temple Is Now Within
After he was healed,
he entered the temple walking, leaping, and praising God.
But now—
📖 “Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…” — 1 Corinthians 6:19
The temple is no longer a place.
It is your heart.
And Jesus is not just passing by—
He is inviting Himself in.
You Are Not Without
You may not have what the world says you need—
but if you have Jesus—
you have more than enough.
A Moment to Respond
To the one who feels unseen…
To the one still sitting at the gate…
Jesus sees you.
He is not walking past.
He is reaching out His hand.
Will you take it?
Because when you begin to see…
you realize you have a choice to make.

A Final Thought
Today, ask God to open your eyes
to what you already carry.
You may already have what you’ve been praying for—
you just haven’t seen it yet.
