When I Thought It Was Gone… It Bloomed

Last summer, I planted this flower with so much care — sunlight, watering, attention. But the heat was harsh. The shade was thin. And eventually, it withered. I thought it was gone.

But this week, feeling overwhelmed, I looked up from behind my screen… and there it was.

It bloomed.

In the same place I thought life had ended, God was still working.

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 15:57

And this next word — “which” — caught me.

We don’t just give thanks in general.

We give thanks to the One who gives us the victory — through Jesus.

✨ It’s not what we do or what we don’t do — it’s all because of what Jesus has done.

Now we believe to see our salvation working in us.

Let this be your reminder today:

Even when it looks like the story is over —God brings beauty through the roots of faith. And in Jesus, victory will bloom again.
