There Is None Like Our God

After all the searching, I found what never changes. There is no one like our God—holy, faithful, and steady. He is my Rock, and now I stand in His light.

Scripture:

“There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.”

 — 1 Samuel 2:2 (KJV)

💎 There Is None Like Our God

Devotion Based on 1 Samuel 2:2

“There is none holy as the LORD: For there is none beside thee: Neither is there any rock like our God.”1 Samuel 2:2, KJV

There’s a kind of healing that goes beyond emotion, beyond logic—deep into the soul. It’s the kind of healing only God can give. And when you’ve received it, you know it. You are never the same again.

“There is none holy as the LORD…”

The more we grow in awareness of who we are in Him, the more we see how set apart—holy—our God truly is. He doesn’t respond the way people do. He doesn’t abandon, manipulate, or fail us. When the Lord reveals how deeply He sees us, holds us, and stays faithful to us even in our weakness, something shifts within. Our identity becomes rooted not in human opinion, but in divine truth.

Maybe that’s why Paul wrote what he did in 1 Corinthians 7. Some of us, like Paul, discover a greater joy in walking with God alone than trying to fit into the world's expectations of relationship. And for those called to marriage, Scripture is clear—make sure the one you walk with loves Jesus more than they love you. Because only then can any human relationship reflect the fulfillment our hearts truly long for.

Still, this goes far beyond romance. Business partnerships, friendships, and even family relationships come with layers—growth, tension, misunderstandings. Life together isn’t always peaceful. That’s why God gives us this truth to anchor our hearts:

“Neither is there any rock like our God.”

When everything else shifts, He stays. When others misunderstand or walk away, He remains. Our job is not to control outcomes or people—but to be still (Exodus 14:14),

and know that God is God (Psalm 46:10).

The KJV says it like this, "You keep your peace."

The Lord will fight for you,

you keep your peace.

Letting go of what we can’t fix is not weakness—it’s trust. Trust that our holy, faithful, unshakable God sees us, knows what we need, and will fight for us when we stay in step with Him.

We can talk to Him. Even laugh a little at how long we hold onto things before finally surrendering. He’s patient with us. But when we receive what He shows us—about ourselves, about others, and most of all, about Him—we are never the same again.

So today, friend…Look in the mirror, and speak truth.

Tell yourself what God says about you.

Don’t let any human define your worth—only God can do that.

There is none like Him.

🛑 Heart Check

Are you holding onto something—or someone—tighter than you’re holding onto Jesus? Ask Him to show you. And when He does, trust His holiness and goodness enough to let go.

My newest teaching video is now live on YouTube.

It’s raw, it’s real — and it’s prayerfully meant for someone God has on His heart today.

As I shared this new teaching, I was reminded of something the Lord has shown me over time: faith grows, but it remains the same faith.

The Freedoms in Christ: How Jesus Sets the Soul Free series reflects my current season of teaching — but along the way, the Lord gently led me to include two earlier videos created before this website ever existed.

One was recorded in 2015–2016, when I was first stepping out in faith, simply obeying and learning to trust God, day by day.

The other was shared a few years ago, during a season when the Lord was healing me and freeing me from pain that tried to turn loneliness into bondage.

Looking back, I see now: they were never separate stories — they were part of the same journey of faith, growth, and freedom in Christ.

Just like the parable Jesus shared:

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”
— Luke 15:8

Nothing God works through is ever lost — sometimes it’s simply waiting for the right time to be seen again.

Maybe you feel that way too: overlooked, out of season, or unsure where you belong.

But hear this:
You are not lost to God.
And if you seek Him, you will find Him.
