The Walk of Faith: Still Learning… and Sharing

There are moments in Scripture where something suddenly becomes real

in your heart.

Not just words on a page.

Not just theology.

Not just something you heard before.

But revelation.

That happened to me while reading through Romans chapters 3–5.

And honestly, it did not begin as a devotion.

It began with me sitting there learning…

reading slowly…

trying to understand what God was showing me.

And suddenly I saw it:

God is the Justifier.

Romans 3 begins by making something painfully clear:

everybody has sinned.

No one can boast before God.

No one earns righteousness by works.

No one stands before Him because they performed well enough.

And then suddenly comes those powerful words:

“But now…”

“But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested…”— Romans 3:21

Not earned.

Not achieved.

Revealed.

Through Jesus Christ.

And as I kept reading, it felt like the pieces started connecting in my heart.

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”— Romans 3:24

Freely.

By grace.

Through Jesus.

And there it was:

“…that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”— Romans 3:26

God is not only just.

He is the Justifier of the one who believes in Jesus.

Glory Hallelujah.

Honestly, this brought such peace to my heart

because life comes with trials, tests, failures, disappointments, weaknesses,

fears, and moments where we realize very quickly, we are not enough on our own.

And maybe that is exactly where God meets us best:

when we stop boasting in ourselves and begin trusting fully in Christ.

Romans 3–5 became more than chapters to me.

They became foundation.

The core discovery was:

  • God is the Justifier.

  • Grace is a gift.

  • Salvation is through faith in Jesus.

  • Boasting is removed.

  • Peace with God comes through Christ.

And then Romans 5 opened even deeper:

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”— Romans 5:1

Peace with God.

Not because life suddenly becomes easy.

Not because troubles disappear.

But because Jesus changes our standing before God.

And honestly, this is where my real walk with Jesus continues every single day.

Because after revelation comes reality.

Trials still come.

Responsibilities still exist.

Emotions still rise.

Life still stretches us.

But now I understand something differently:

The purpose in all of this is not just surviving life.

The purpose is learning how to survive in Christ.

To be lifted from hard places into deeper dependence on God.

To become an overcomer through Christ who strengthens us.

And honestly?

That is where my learning usually happens.

Not when everything feels perfect.

But while walking through life with Jesus in real time.

Romans 5 does not ignore suffering either.

It says:

“Tribulation worketh patience;
And patience, experience;
and experience, hope.”
— Romans 5:3–4

That means even the hard places are not wasted.

God is doing something deeper.

Building endurance.

Building faith.

Building hope.

Building trust.

And maybe that is why this devotion naturally continued growing into what came next.

Because once my heart saw justification by faith,

another question naturally followed:

“If this is true…

how do we WALK this out every day?”

That became:

The Framework of Faith

Not a separate random devotion.

A continuation.

A lived response to justification by faith.

And then another question followed:

“How do we KEEP GOING through ordinary life?”

That became:

Go — Strengthened by the Holy Spirit

Again…not separate.

Connected.

One revelation.

Branching into:

  • Foundation

  • Growth

  • Mission

And honestly, I am still learning while walking it out myself.

But maybe that is part of faith too.

Learning to walk with Jesus one step at a time while He keeps revealing who He is.

And after we learn…we can share to encourage someone else.

To God be the glory.

Love in Christ,

Karen
