Psalm 3:3 KJV — God lifts our head, sunrise over foggy lake, Hope in Today Ministries
He is lifting your head—even now.

Maybe you need to hear this today…

Stop beating yourself up.

We are evolving.

He will help with whatever you’re struggling with.

We’re being made more and more into the image of God—day by day.

Every day is just another opportunity

to be made more into His image.

We’re already in the image of God in our spirit,

but our soul—our mind, our will, our emotions—

that is being transformed day by day.

Today gives us another opportunity.

Another day to be transformed.

I have learned how to accept myself—

that God loves me.

And my confidence has risen…

not in myself alone,

but in Him—

in His presence

and His love for me.

Jesus’ gift in me lets me accept myself.

And yes…

He also guides me to the things I need to change—

in my heart,

in the way I think,

in what I feel,

and in what I choose to do.

Love is not just a gooey feeling.

Love is what we do.

And God is love.

This is how I encourage you to accept yourself:

God made you.

And He loves you.

And this is how I encourage you to enjoy yourself:

I have learned it is possible

to enjoy time by yourself.

I am also learning to enjoy myself

in the company of people…

and even in the company of no one.

Because we are never truly alone

if we talk with God.

“But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me;

my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.”

— Psalm 3:3 (KJV)

Like the sunrise this morning—

watching the fog lift off the water…

What once felt heavy

begins to clear.

Little by little.

That is what God is doing in us.

Whatever you are struggling with…

He is lifting your head.

He is making you more and more

into His image.

I can testify there is nothing we can bring to Jesus

that would ever leave Him feeling helpless

or wondering what to do.

I hope this encourages you even more

to hear the still voice of the Lord

and to grow in your confidence

that Jesus still speaks to us

by the Comforter

He asked the Father to send to us.

Our part?

We believe, ask, seek, and knock.

Patience is not hard just to be hard,

but often difficult because it helps us see.

Rest.

Pause.

Be still and know that God is God.

And learn to trust in His Word as He brings it.

Step by step

and breath by breath,

we obey

as we even breathe.

With love in Christ,

Karen

Hope in Today Ministries

Jesus is never too busy to listen to me…

and the same Jesus who meets me there

is willing to meet you there too…

I have received Him in my heart as both Savior and Lord.

If this stirred something in your heart…

Take a moment to pause.

Talk to God honestly—right where you are.

You don’t have to have the right words.

Just begin.

Ask.

Seek.

Knock.

He is listening.

And He is already working in you.
