You are immensely and incredibly valuable to God.
This revelation is about discovering who God says you are.
So smile… because God loves you, my friend.
Go — Strengthened by the Holy Spirit
Walking Daily With Jesus Through Ordinary Life
After reading through Romans 3–5 and realizing more deeply that we are justified by faith through Jesus Christ, another question naturally followed in my heart:
“How do we KEEP GOING through ordinary life?”
Because honestly, real life keeps happening.
The laundry gets done…and then needs done again.
The grass finally looks nice…and then grows again.
The bed finally feels fresh and clean…and then eventually it is time to wash those sheets all over again.
Life keeps moving.
Responsibilities keep coming.
And honestly, I realized something important:
Sometimes it is not the big crisis moments that wear us down the most.
Sometimes it is simply the repetition of life.
The routines.
The responsibilities.
The emotional exhaustion.
The continuing.
And that is exactly why we need the Holy Spirit.
Jesus told His followers plainly to wait for the Holy Spirit.
The Helper.
The Guide.
The Spirit of Truth.
“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”— Acts 1:8
We were never meant to walk this life in our own strength alone.
And honestly, that gives me hope.
Because there are days where I absolutely know:
I cannot do this well without God helping me.
Not just the “big things.”
The everyday things too.
We need the Holy Spirit to help us:
continue,
endure,
love people,
renew our minds,
guard our hearts,
and keep walking with Jesus daily.
And honestly, I think sometimes we forget something important:
We are here to love people.
We are not here for people to love us.
That truth brings freedom.
Because if our identity depends on human approval,
eventually disappointment will shake us.
But when our identity is rooted in being loved by God,
we become free to love others well —
unconditionally of how they treat us, and in the way / method that God will provide for us to know HOW to demonstrate Christ (God's Love) dwelling in us so His light can shine in places where it is needed most.
Isn't that the purpose in love?
.
People ARE imperfect.
Sometimes misunderstood.
Sometimes hurting.
Sometimes limited by the amount of light they currently have in their hearts.
And honestly?
So are we sometimes.
That is why we need grace too.
Jesus never told us to walk by emotions alone.
Our emotions are real,
but they cannot lead us.
God’s Word and His Spirit must lead us.
The Bible says:
“Whatsoever things are true… honest… just… pure… lovely… think on these things.”— Philippians 4:8
And honestly, I think part of spiritual maturity is learning
not to let every feeling become our authority.
Because feelings change.
But Jesus remains faithful.
And Jesus kept walking in Truth, Spirit, and Love
even when people misunderstood Him.
He did not give up on people.
He continued in purpose.
And Jesus tells us to go.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”— Mark 16:15
And honestly?
That does not always mean standing behind a pulpit.
Sometimes it means:
smiling when your heart is tired,
praying for someone quietly,
responding gently,
showing patience,
choosing forgiveness,
continuing to love,
or simply refusing to give up.
Everyday life becomes holy ground when Christ is living within us.
Even standing in a checkout line.
Even mowing grass.
Even washing dishes.
As long as God calls it today, we still have purpose.
And through Christ, we are strengthened to continue.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”— Philippians 4:13
Not because we are always strong in ourselves…
but because Jesus faithfully strengthens us through His Spirit
day by day.
And honestly?
I believe part of real joy is learning that God is present even in ordinary life.
Not just the big spiritual moments.
But today.
Right here.
In the middle of real life.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still walking with Jesus one day at a time.
And after we learn, we can encourage someone else too.
To God be the glory.
Love in Christ,
Karen
