Reaching for Wholeness
Scripture:
"He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then the fever left her and she began to wait on them."— Mark 1:31 (NIV)

Jesus doesn’t just speak healing—He touches it. His hand reaches where others pull away. His presence enters where pain has lingered too long.
In Mark 1, Jesus didn’t heal from across the room. He stepped close. He took Peter’s mother-in-law by the hand, lifted her up—and in that moment, healing came.
When Jesus touches your life, it’s never halfway. It’s not surface-level. His healing brings restoration to what’s been weakened, worn out, or silenced. And often, healing comes not just for our comfort, but for our calling—just like this woman, who rose up and began to serve.
Sometimes we’re waiting for healing. Other times, healing is waiting for us—to trust, to reach, to receive.
What if healing is already within reach... and Jesus is extending His hand?
Reflection Questions:
What area of your life needs healing—physically, emotionally, or spiritually?
How has Jesus reached for you in the past?
What would it look like to trust His hand today?
Heart Moment – The Wrong Cross
There was a time I realized…
I had been asking Jesus to rescue me from my discomfort,
not to redeem my heart.
I was on the wrong cross.
Not the one that says, “Remember me"
.”But the one that cries out, “Save me… but don’t change me.”
And Jesus,
in His mercy, didn’t just rescue me from a situation.
He saved me from myself.
It’s intentional—our thoughts, our feelings, our desire for comfort.
But Jesus is teaching me that it’s in the uncomfortable that we come to truly know Him.
When we’re undone in the presence of God, something shifts inside.
And once you experience that kind of Presence, you can never go back.
So I ask you, friend—Could it be that Jesus isn’t ignoring your cry… but instead inviting you to know Him deeper?
Choosing the cross that brings life,
With love in Christ,
Karen
Prayer:
Jesus, I need Your healing hand in my life. Touch the places I’ve grown numb, tired, or hurt. Where I’ve been lying down in discouragement, lift me up.I trust that Your touch is enough—more than enough. Make me whole so I can walk and serve You fully.
In Your name, Amen.
Invitation:
Jesus wants to walk with you. If you're ready, tell God you believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died, was buried, and rose again so you can live.
Jesus says to the surrendered heart, "Today you will be with Me in paradise."
Will you be that heart today?
Come back tomorrow:
Discover how God's power in you is greater than what's around you.
