👉 Exodus 14:14“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
Before We Begin, Let us begin,
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. We have a choice to rejoice . . . And, it's hard! Overcoming overwhelming troubles is hard, but as we learn through the process, Jesus will help us know what to do.
Peace comes from following Jesus by our faith.
God doesn't give it to us all at once, but bit by bit and
dose by dose, not to kill us, rather so that we can grow.
And God knows just how much to give us at a time.
That's why it is important to pray and wait upon the Lord.
Peace is an indicator.
By now, today, I already received my Scripture for today, when I was ready to hear what Jesus would do.
Matthew 17:24:27, Tells us Jesus told Peter to go catch a fish and use the coin to pay the temple tax. This was the unjust tax. Jesus didn't owe the tax -"The Sons are Free" *But he still said, "so that we may not cause offense..."
And, then he paid it anyway!
That's not weakness!
That's Wisdom!
God works in mysterious ways.
In order to have peace with God
we have to stay in faith with God.
From the comfort zone to the reality of the spiritual zone,
we are born-again to grow.
We are not finished growing until we reach the place of eternal life!
He is making us stronger!
Many times, we just don't know what Jesus would do.
And, even in our stillness, Satan loves to complicate it.
This is not something learned overnight.
This is something God is teaching—
layer by layer.
There are moments in life when things don’t feel right.
You can’t always explain it.
You just know…
peace is missing.
And when peace is missing,
something deeper is happening.
Section 1 — When the Water Is Stirred
We often want calm.
We want clarity.
We want things to make sense.
But God allows moments where things are stirred—
not to confuse us…
but to reveal something in us.
When life becomes uncomfortable,
it doesn’t just expose the situation—
it exposes the heart.
Section 2 — Working It Out in the Heart
👉 Philippians 2:12
“Work out your own salvation…”
This is not about striving.
This is about:
allowing God to reveal what’s inside
discerning truth from feeling
responding in obedience
Because the heart can feel right…
and still be wrong.
⚖️ Section 3 — Peace Is the Indicator
👉 Colossians 3:15
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…”
Peace is not just a feeling.
Peace is a guide.
When peace is present → rest.
When peace is missing → search.
Not in fear…
but in truth.
Section 4 — One Step Out of Being Stuck
Sometimes the struggle isn’t the situation—
it’s the paralysis inside of us.
There are moments where you feel stuck.
Not because you don’t know what to do…
but because something deeper is weighing on you.
And the answer is not doing everything at once.
The answer is:
👉 one right step
Even if it’s small.
Even if no one sees it.
Just you and God.
That’s how we move forward.
🌿 Section 5 — When Overwhelmed Leads to
Overcomercoming in Grace + Truth
When peace is missing…
you begin to search.
You start asking:
What is not right here?
What doesn’t feel true?
What is being hidden?
And this is where many people turn away.
But this is where truth is found.
Section 6 — Ask, Seek, Knock
👉 Matthew 7:7
Ask.
Seek.
Knock.
This is not about getting what we want.
This is about being led into what is true.
Because the door that opens…
is not just an answer.
It is truth.
✨ Section 7 — Truth Is a Person
👉 John 14:6
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
Truth is not something we create.
Truth is someone we follow.
Section 8 — Hold Your Peace
This brings us back to the beginning:
👉 Exodus 14:14
“The Lord will fight for you—you hold your peace.”
Holding your peace does not mean ignoring the problem.
It means:
not striving in your flesh
not reacting in fear
not forcing an outcome
It means trusting God
while He brings everything into the light.
Final Reflection
Maybe the troubled water…
is not meant to overwhelm you.
Maybe it is where:
truth is revealed
the heart is refined
and healing begins
Heart Moment
Sometimes…
the hardest part is not the situation.
It’s what it reveals in us.
But when we choose to stay with God in it—
when we hold our peace…
He does the work we cannot do.
I hope this helps you open your heart to believe again.
May it bless you, as it has blessed me in the telling.

👉 Want to grow with us in the Word?
Join us as we learn together and walk closer with Jesus.
There is so much more to this.
I am still growing in real-life testimonies of how God has cared enough to help me grow as He worked in my life—how He has corrected me, taught me, and changed me for the better.
We will come back to those in time.
For now, I invite you to tune back in—
and to look for what God may be ready to show you as I believe He has us here for you to help you as He helps you grow.
If you are reading this,
this is for you.
This may be your season
to know Him,
to believe Him,
and to grow in Him.
Christ is the image of God.
He came in the likeness of man—
like you and me—
so that we could know Him.
Jesus is the only One who qualified.
And because He was obedient to death on the cross—
He is risen!
All so that we could know God the Father,
and also the Son.
This is what Jesus teaches us in John 17:3—
that life eternal is to know them:
the Father and the Son.
Glory, hallelujah.
Thank You, Jesus.
Not just believe in Him—
but know Him as Lord.
As we receive Him,
our minds are renewed,
our hearts are transformed,
and our lives begin to change.
And when this becomes real to you—
you will never be the same.
I would love to hear your testimony.
If the Lord leads your heart,
will you come back and share it with me?
With love in Christ,
Karen
