When Jesus Reaches for You

📖 Day 1 – When Jesus Reaches for You

Walking With Jesus Series

God Meets You Where You Are

📖 Scripture Focus

“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
— Acts 3:6 (KJV)

There are moments in life when we feel stuck.

Not moving forward.
Not where we thought we would be.
Not sure how to change what we’re facing.

In Acts 3, there was a man in that exact place.

He had been lame from birth.
Every day, he was carried to the gate called Beautiful—
placed there to ask for help from others.

That was his routine.
That was his expectation.
That was his life.

Until Jesus met him there.

Not in a temple service.
Not after he got everything right.
Not once he proved himself.

Right there…
in the middle of his limitation.

Through Peter, something different happened.

Not money.
Not temporary relief.

But something deeper.

Healing.
Strength.
New life.

Because what Jesus gives
is never just surface-level.

Walking With Jesus Begins Here

Walking with Jesus doesn’t start
when everything is fixed.

It starts the moment
you realize He is already reaching toward you.

You may feel:

• unprepared
• uncertain
• not enough

But Jesus is not waiting for you to become strong.

He is the One who gives strength.

He is not asking you to fix your life first.

He is asking you to trust Him where you are.

A Simple Truth

The man at the gate
was expecting one thing—

but received something greater.

And sometimes…
we are the same.

We ask for what we think we need.

But Jesus responds
with what we actually need.

Walking With Him Today

Walking with Jesus today
may not look like having all the answers.

It may look like:

• pausing instead of striving
• trusting instead of figuring everything out
• receiving instead of reaching in your own strength

Because faith doesn’t begin
with having everything together.

It begins
with responding to Him.

Reflect & Respond

Where do you feel stuck right now?

What have you been expecting—
that might be keeping you from seeing
what God is actually offering?

What would it look like
to simply respond to Him today?

Prayer

Lord,

thank You for meeting me right where I am.

Not where I think I should be,
but exactly where I am today.

Help me to recognize Your hand reaching toward me.

Give me the faith to respond—
even if I don’t fully understand.

Teach me to walk with You,
one step at a time.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

My newest teaching video is now live on YouTube.

It’s raw, it’s real — and it’s prayerfully meant for someone God has on His heart today.

As I shared this new teaching, I was reminded of something the Lord has shown me over time: faith grows, but it remains the same faith.

The Freedoms in Christ: How Jesus Sets the Soul Free series reflects my current season of teaching — but along the way, the Lord gently led me to include two earlier videos created before this website ever existed.

One was recorded in 2015–2016, when I was first stepping out in faith, simply obeying and learning to trust God, day by day.

The other was shared a few years ago, during a season when the Lord was healing me and freeing me from pain that tried to turn loneliness into bondage.

Looking back, I see now: they were never separate stories — they were part of the same journey of faith, growth, and freedom in Christ.

Just like the parable Jesus shared:

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”
— Luke 15:8

Nothing God works through is ever lost — sometimes it’s simply waiting for the right time to be seen again.

Maybe you feel that way too: overlooked, out of season, or unsure where you belong.

But hear this:
You are not lost to God.
And if you seek Him, you will find Him.
