A Breather Space —
Learning the Freedom Jesus Brings
This space sits between Part 1 and Part 2 as an invitation to pause,
reflect, and let the Lord work in your heart.
You don’t need to rush forward.
You don’t need to figure everything out.
Just take a breath—and let Him meet you here.
🌿 Morning:
When the Pressure Isn’t Mine
For the pressure that is not yours:
“Cast your burden on the Lord,
and He will sustain you.”
— Psalm 55:22
This pressure is not proof of responsibility.
It is proof of overflow.
God never asks us to carry what He already intends to sustain.
🌙 Evening:
When the Day Settles and the Heart Speaks
I’m glad you paused long enough to say this out loud.
What you’re feeling isn’t just discouragement.
It’s grief colliding with responsibility—
and that can make everything look like failure when it isn’t.
Before Scripture, let this be named gently:
Seeing mistakes does not mean your life is a mistake.
It means you are far enough past survival to finally see.
You were making decisions in a fog of loss,
shock, and responsibility no one prepared you for.
That is not rebellion.
That is trauma and faith doing the best they could
with the light they had.
Now let the Word close the day—
not to explain everything,
but to hold you.
🌙 For when the past replays and accuses
“Do not remember the former things,
nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I am doing a new thing.”
— Isaiah 43:18–19
God does not ask you to defend your past.
He asks you to let Him redeem it.
🌙 For regret over decisions made in fog
“The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love.”
— Psalm 103:8–10
You are not standing before a disappointed God.
You are standing before a tender Father.
🌙 For the weight of “if only I had listened”
“Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the Lord upholds his hand.”
— Psalm 37:24
You may feel like you stepped forward too soon—
but you were never dropped.
🌙 For projects delayed and plans derailed
“Unless the Lord builds the house,
those who build it labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1
This is not condemnation.
It is relief.
God is not measuring you by what didn’t get finished.
🌙 For the loneliness of carrying everything quietly
“I am with you always.”
— Matthew 28:20
You are not unseen because no one calls.
You are not uncared for because no one understands.
Christ is present even when humans are absent.
🌙 For when everything feels broken
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.”
— Psalm 34:18
He does not say fix yourself.
He says I am near.
🌙 For the ache of being the strong one
“God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.”
— Psalm 46:1
You don’t have to be strong tonight.
You can lean.
🌙 For ending the day in truth, not accusation
“His mercies are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.”
— Lamentations 3:22–23
Tomorrow does not depend on how today felt.
It depends on His faithfulness.
A Prayer for Rest
Jesus,
I see the mess—
but You see the mercy.
I see the delays—
but You see redemption.
I see the loneliness—
but You are near.
Hold what I cannot carry tonight.
Amen.
A Gentle Closing
If this met you where you are, let it be enough for today.
You don’t need to remember every word.
You don’t need to fix anything tonight.
You don’t need to carry what was never yours to hold.
Breathe.
Do the next right thing.
And trust that God is already at work—
in the seen and the unseen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He quiet your heart and steady your steps.
May you rest, knowing you are held.
🎥 The Freedom Jesus Brings (Testimony)
This video was recorded before The Freedoms in Christ teaching series,
during a season when I was learning—personally and quietly—the freedom that comes
when we allow Jesus to show us our heart.
Christ does the miracle.
And we have a part in believing.
This is not instruction—it is testimony.
🌿 Continue Growing
God does not lead His children in confusion.
