Sometimes God begins working in our lives long before we understand
what He is doing.
In this early testimony and teaching, Karen shares part of the beginning of her journey — learning to seek the Lord more deeply through Scripture, surrendering fear and self-reliance, and discovering that true peace is found in Jesus Christ.
Using Hosea 10:12 as the foundation, this teaching explores:
• breaking up the fallow ground of the heart
• releasing fear, striving, and confusion into trust
• how healing often happens through process
• how God softens the heart through mercy
• and how spiritual transformation happens one step at a time through His Word
A central part of this testimony includes an unexpected rain experience that became a turning point — not because of the rain itself, but because of what God was revealing through it.
Looking back years later, Karen reflects on how God was already teaching mercy, surrender, healing, and peace long before she fully understood the journey.
Sometimes the beginning of healing is simply recognizing that God is already at work.
Every year I expected the rain.
But this year, the rain became part of the lesson.
To God be the glory — He began teaching me about His love.
