Day 6 — Home Is Being at Home in Heaven
Learning to live here with eternity in view
📖 Scripture Focus
“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.”
— John 14:2–3 (KJV)
What We Call Home
Our earthly homes bring a measure of comfort.
But they are never permanent.
Walls fade.
Roofs wear down.
Life shifts.
Even the places we love most
are only temporary.
The Promise Jesus Gave
Jesus spoke of something different.
Not a temporary place—
but an eternal one.
A home prepared by His own hands.
A place where we will be with Him.
Not just visiting…
but belonging.
When Perspective Begins to Change
Faithfulness in the small things
includes how we see where we belong.
When we begin to remember
that our true home is with Christ—
Something shifts.
We stop clinging so tightly
to what will not last…
And we begin to walk in the peace
of what is eternal.
Where “Home” Begins
To be “at home” in Heaven
does not begin later.
It begins now.
It begins when:
• His presence becomes your comfort
• His truth becomes your foundation
• His peace becomes your anchor
When your heart begins to feel more at rest with Him
than with the approval of the world—
You are already learning what home feels like.
Walking This Out Today
Where have you been holding too tightly
to what is temporary?
What would it look like
to shift your heart toward what is eternal?
How can you become more aware of His presence
right where you are?
Prayer
Lord Jesus,
help me to set my heart on my true home with You.
Teach me to live with Heaven in view,
to walk in peace,
and to find comfort in Your presence
above all else.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

✨ Final Truth
Home is not just where you are going.
It is who you belong to.
And as you walk with Him now—
you are already learning
what it means to be home.
