Devotion: You Already Know the Way

Scripture Focus: John 14:2–7 (KJV)

A Gentle Walk Through the Words of Jesus

Sometimes we are not lacking direction—

we are forgetting what we already know.

Jesus didn’t overwhelm His disciples with information.

He walked them step by step into truth.

Let’s walk with Him.

Step 1 — A Promise Prepared

Jesus begins with assurance:

“I go to prepare a place for you.”

Before He tells them the way—
He gives them hope.

This is not about losing something.

This is about being brought somewhere.

Step 2 — You Already Know

“And whither I go ye know,
and the way ye know.”

Jesus reminds them:

You’re not as lost as you think.

Because the way is not a path—
it is the One you are walking with.

To know Christ
is to know the way home.

Step 3 — To Know Him Is to Know the Father

“If ye had known me,
ye should have known my Father also…”

This is where everything deepens.

Jesus is not only showing the way—
He is revealing God Himself.

To see Him
is to see the Father.

What This Means for Us

We don’t need to chase direction.

We don’t need to strive to figure everything out.

If we know Jesus—
we are already on the way.

And the One leading us
has already prepared where we are going.

A Quiet Prayer

Lord Jesus,

Thank You that I am not lost.

Even when I feel uncertain,
You are the way.

Help me to trust what I already know in You.

Let me walk with You—
not ahead of You,
not behind You—
but with You.

Amen.

This is where Jesus makes it clear.

Final Thought

You don’t have to figure everything out.

You don’t have to see the whole path.

You don’t have to force clarity.

Jesus didn’t point His disciples to a map.

He pointed them to Himself.

And He says the same to you:

“You know the way.”

Because you know Me.

If your heart feels uncertain… pause.

You are not behind.
You are not lost.
You are not alone.

Walk with Him.

That is the way.

My newest teaching video is now live on YouTube.

It’s raw, it’s real — and it’s prayerfully meant for someone God has on His heart today.

As I shared this new teaching, I was reminded of something the Lord has shown me over time: faith grows, but it remains the same faith.

The Freedoms in Christ: How Jesus Sets the Soul Free series reflects my current season of teaching — but along the way, the Lord gently led me to include two earlier videos created before this website ever existed.

One was recorded in 2015–2016, when I was first stepping out in faith, simply obeying and learning to trust God, day by day.

The other was shared a few years ago, during a season when the Lord was healing me and freeing me from pain that tried to turn loneliness into bondage.

Looking back, I see now: they were never separate stories — they were part of the same journey of faith, growth, and freedom in Christ.

Just like the parable Jesus shared:

“Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”
— Luke 15:8

Nothing God works through is ever lost — sometimes it’s simply waiting for the right time to be seen again.

Maybe you feel that way too: overlooked, out of season, or unsure where you belong.

But hear this:
You are not lost to God.
And if you seek Him, you will find Him.
