Kindness That Walks With You
When God Leads You to Show Up
💛 Day 4 — Heart Moment
Kindness That Walks With You
Someone once told me they felt like a burden—
because I had done so much for them,
they didn’t feel free to reach out again.
But I told them:
“It’s not a burden when it’s Jesus in me leading the kindness.”
What Kindness Really Is
Kindness isn’t just doing something nice.
It’s listening to the Lord—
and following Him
when He nudges you to show up
in someone’s life.
That’s what He’s shown me.
When You Need Someone
There were times I faced doors that felt too big:
college
the UNC Cancer Center
places where fear could have stopped me
But God always sent someone.
Someone to walk with me.
And even when I walked through alone—
I wasn’t alone.
He was there.
Now I See It Differently
Now when God places someone on my heart—
I recognize it.
It’s not random.
It’s not pressure.
It’s an invitation.
A chance to walk with someone
the way He walked with me.
What Kindness Does
Kindness helps someone believe:
👉 “I can walk through this.”
It doesn’t force them.
It doesn’t carry them.
It walks with them.
The Line Between Kindness and Faith
Kindness opens the door.
Encouragement quiets fear.
But faith—
that’s personal.
Each of us has to choose it.
You’ve heard it said:
“You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.”
That’s the picture.
Kindness leads.
Faith steps forward.
The Way God Does It
God’s love is not manipulative.
It is not forced.
It is kind.
Sometimes—
it’s as simple as a whisper:
👉 “Smile.”
And that smile—
might be the very thing
someone else needs to keep going.
A Quiet Reflection
When you look in the mirror—
smile.
And remember:
the encouragement you receive from God—
is the same encouragement
He will use through you.
Not Nice — But Spiritual
Nice can come from habit.
But kindness—
is spiritual.
It is a fruit of the Spirit.
And when you begin to understand that—
you will never see it the same way again.
Walking It Out
Kindness walks hand in hand with Jesus.
It listens.
It responds.
And when He says:
“Go”
“Help”
“Stay”
“Smile”
You follow.
The Truth
Kindness is not shallow.
Kindness is not self-serving.
Kindness is the fruit
of a surrendered life.
A life that trusts
the power
and presence
of God.
I hope this helps you open your heart to believe again.
May it bless you, as it has blessed me in the telling.
