About Hope in Today Ministries
Hope in Today Ministries, Inc. is a Christ-centered, Spirit-led ministry devoted to helping people discover the healing, peace, and strength found in a real and living relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe in the power of God’s Word to renew the heart and restore hope — no matter what season of life you’re walking through.
This ministry exists to encourage, equip, and remind people that hope is alive today because Jesus is alive. Through devotions, teachings, prayer, and real-life testimonies, we’re here to walk with you as you grow in your faith.
Who We Are
My name is Karen Rowe, and I’m the founder of Hope in Today Ministries. This calling was born out of personal pain, healing, and a deep love for the Lord who carried me through it all.
After the loss of my beloved husband — who was also my best friend — I discovered a deeper dependence on Jesus than ever before. Out of that journey came a calling to offer others the same comfort, truth, and hope that I found in Him.
I walk this journey alongside a community of faithful believers, including Pastor Jesse L. Alston, who now leads the pastoral teaching. Together, we are committed to sharing the love of Jesus and making room for the Holy Spirit to lead, comfort, and transform lives.
Our Scripture Foundation
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3
💜 Why We Do This
Hope in Today Ministries was founded from a place of surrender—not strength. What we share here isn’t about perfect answers or clever words. It’s about inviting people into the presence of God, where true change happens.
Faith isn’t just what we believe; it’s how we respond to the voice of Jesus—taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We believe that when we follow Him, His Presence transforms us from the inside out.
This ministry exists to honor God, share His Word, and encourage you to trust Him in the middle of the storm. Because even when nothing else changes, His Presence changes everything.

Mission
To glorify God by spreading the good news of Jesus Christ, strengthening believers through biblical teaching and encouragement, and reaching the brokenhearted with the healing hope of salvation.
Vision
To see hearts healed, lives transformed, and believers equipped through the power of God's Word, the comfort of His Spirit, and the love of Christ lived out daily.

Karen's Testimony
God's Vision For you is More Than Enough!
" Is God Enough?
After my husband died, I looked to God and asked Him an honest question:
“Are You enough?”
In the two years that followed, God didn’t just answer me—He proved it. And in the process, He taught me something deeper. Not just one truth, but three truths about enough:
-
God is enough.
In our darkest valley, God remains constant. Steady. Present. He doesn’t change, and He doesn’t fail. -
God’s enough is no more and no less than we need for each day.
Like manna in the wilderness, His provision meets us in our need—day by day, moment by moment. -
God’s enough is beyond what we can understand.
He created the heavens, the earth, and every living thing. His enough is exceedingly, abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine. When we let God work through our tests and trials, our faith grows. As Scripture says, we become “perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (James 1:4).
So yes, God’s enough is enough.
Let Him be enough for you, too.
"One Breath. One Step.
.
The day after my husband stepped into eternity, God began to speak to my heart.
He showed me something I wasn’t expecting:
That I don’t have to stay stuck in yesterday.
And I don’t have to be launched like a cannonball into every tomorrow.
Instead, I could stay in the middle. I could remain—with Jesus.
In that quiet place of deep pain and raw trust, He taught me two simple truths:
-
We only have to breathe one breath at a time.
Not the next ten breaths. Just the one we’re in. The breath we have.
And He gives it to us. -
We only have to take one step at a time.
Not the whole path, not the finish line. Just the next step, and Jesus walks with us there.
This is grace for the moment.
This is how He holds us: not with demands, but with presence.
So friend, if you’re hurting, grieving, or simply overwhelmed, hear this—
You don’t have to go back. You don’t have to rush ahead.
Just breathe. Just step. And stay with Jesus in the middle.
