Who is Jesus to you?

Multiple choice tests offer true, similar, and sometimes ridiculous choices to test our knowledge about a subject. Today the world answers that question about Jesus. How much knowledge do you have to answer that question: Who is Jesus? God will grade the test. We need to be sure that we have learned the truth before we turn in our answers to God. On a test, some choices may have some truth built into the answer, but we must consider all the information that is given before we choose the only absolute and perfectly correct answer.

Regardless of our choice, there is still only one absolute correct answer to choose in order to get the question right and pass the test. We need to know who Jesus is in our lives and in our relationship with God. Multiple choice tests are intended to test our real knowledge of the truth with comprehension and a true understanding. In life we are faced with the question of who Jesus is, and we answer that question regardless of who we are or what we believe. The Train Whistle urges us to consider the credibility of our source of knowledge for what we believe.

Peter’s Confession of Christ

But what about you? Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered,
“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus replied, Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.

Matthew 16:15-17

Is Your Faith Certain?

My faith is certain, but it matters to God what you believe.  In your heart, are you certain you are ready when God calls Today Soon?  It is not about me, this is between you and God.  God is patient not wanting anyone to perish, but do not confuse God's patience/love with impatience of when "soon" will arrive.  This is what the Lord lead me to write:

Soon means any minute now; before long; coming down the pike; directly; fast, in a while, second, or short time; due time; instantly; on time; quickly; and speedily. However, soon does not mean later or never. More than not eventually, soon means before long. We do not need to know the time or the day, however; we simply need to be ready for Jesus today. There is a greater reward of being ready in your today. Following God’s righteousness in his Son, Jesus, we find God is with us each and every day, today and forevermore, when we accept the hope that he has given for us.

Have you thought much about who Jesus is to you? God has, and he has also sent you his Word to know his Son, as well as warn you of those things that are dangerous to your soul. God does do signs and wonders, but remember that signs and wonders from God follow righteousness in Jesus. It is not the other way around. Be certain in your truth.

God loves you, but it matters what you think, because it matters what you believe ~ because, what you [or I believe] does not make up the truth. Truth exists; Facts cannot be changed, but opinions will alter our belief - However, opinions cannot change the truth!

The truth exists to set us free from the law of sin and death. It comes down to which law we choose to place our hope in: The law of sin and death or the law of life by the Spirit.

Why is it so hard to believe in grace under God? Satan has the world confused about who God is -in His character. God understands and Jesus calls us to a childlike faith to simply believe without the complication of needing full understanding all at once.

Satan complicates life in the world; Jesus makes life simple! I am here to help you believe in the Jesus I know, but not to tell you what to believe.  Rather, I hope to create a stirring in your soul that will cause you to seek the truth for your self to know the absolute truth -not based on opinions! I know if you simply earnestly seek the truth in the Bible and through prayer to God, you will find the same Son who sets me free from sin's entanglement and my sinful nature every day! I only share the Jesus I know!

And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death (Romans 8:2 NLT).

What do you think? That is what matters to God. We have all sinned, which means we have missed the mark of perfection established by God and evidenced by Jesus (Romans 3:23). However still, God chooses to address himself as our Father. Do you know that God exercises and delights in justice and righteousness but that he takes no pleasure in the eternal death of anyone who dies? He declares, “Therefore, repent [turn from sin] and live” (see Acts 3:19).

When we see (realize) and really appreciate what our sin has done to the holy Son of God, we understand how horrific sin is. In addition, we realize the lengths and the sacrifice God has gone to, to reconcile us to be with him. Because of sin, the cross was the only way, and because of love, he was left with no other choice.

God loves you this much that he sent his Son for you -Does he sound like someone you would like to get to know?

Jesus has been born [free from sin]. He taught us "the way" to live with God [pure at heart]. God walked upon this earth as a man in His Son and showed us His LOVE. Jesus was Crucified, which means he was sacrificed to death [God's Blood] for the penality of our sins on a cross [Giving us Hope to choose Freedom; Life with God]. After three days Jesus was risen from the dead [the Power of God]. Jesus is seated at the right hand [Powerful Hand] of the Father in Heaven. Jesus will return again one day [Soon].

Are you ready to meet Jesus for who He died and lives to be for you -1st your Savior from the penalty of sin -eventually, if you follow Him, you will get to know Him as your friend.  God bless you on your journey through life; I hope to meet you in Heaven one day.

Humility is Willing Yield with Purpose

Humility is not a weak word. In fact, humility is a word of true strength and character. God’s grace and humility in Jesus is strength and power under control. You may feel like you are miles away from God, but in God’s eyes, you are only a step away from taking the hand of Jesus—not because of what you have done or for who you are, but because of who Jesus is: Jesus is the Christ, who is the Son of the living God.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up, as he understands and forgives, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
(James 4:10; Luke 23:34)
