Luke 17:11-19 (NIV)
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance
13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice.
16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him (giving him thanks, KJV) —and he was a Samaritan.
17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?
18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?”
19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
John 11:41-43 (NIV)
Jesus Raises Lazarus
41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.”
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

Why did God come to us in a Manger?
Why did God make His appearance to us in a stable?
God, the Son arrived into the world in a way as to say, all who come to me are welcome at HIS table to dine; and give thanks unto the Lord!
Would you like to sit back with me a minute and see how Jesus viewed the Thanksgiving Table when Jesus walked on this earth?
From the mouth of the Lord, “I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me (Matthew 25:43 ESV).’
In the next verse, Turning our Bibles to the famous John Chapter 3, (3:16) as the Lord leads me in my study:
The very words of our Lord and Savior are 1st leading Nicodemus right into the famous teachings written in John 3:16! Yet, I wonder, have we become so accustomed to the saying “John 3:16, that we are growing numb to the gift in the message that God has given in John 3:17?
Jesus Teaches Nicodemus
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him (John 3:5-7;16-17).

John Testifies Again About Jesus
27 To this John replied, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven.
Chapter after Chapter in the Bible, God is talking to us through His Word!
John 4:9-10; 23-24;
Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
The Disciples Rejoin Jesus
27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”
The Authority of the Son
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. 22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.
Jesus Walks on the Water
What is it you would like to ask Jesus to do for you? Are you willing to get out of the boat and read the Word and pray in the Spirit as you enter into HIS Gates with Thanksgiving and into HIS courts with Praise?
Jesus the Bread of Life
27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
43 “Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered.
44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. 45 It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’[r] Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.
47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. 50 But here is the bread that comes down from heaven, which anyone may eat and not die.
51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. ...
Who ever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is ____________, which Jesus give for the life of the world."
Many Disciples Desert Jesus
60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, “This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it?”
61 Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, “Does this offend you?
62 Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life. 64 Yet there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.
65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them.”
66 From this time many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him.
67 “You do not want to leave too, do you?” Jesus asked the Twelve.
68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”
Miracle after Miracle, how much do you study God’s Word to you? What does it mean to you that God has given us HIS Word? Are you SO Grateful that you hunger for it?
This Thanksgiving, will you give God your heart and make God’s heart glad?
Not everyone was nice to Jesus and that is an understatement to the cruelty of man to God! Never the less, God has SO LOVED the world!
If only we will come to know and believe in the love God has for us then we are enabled to overcome the conformation of the world to be transformed in the image that God has for us to become like, which is to be the one who is different!
To be the one who is grateful enough to show kindness and do as God nudges your heart to do.
Each day is a gift from God -will you decide to count your blessings and experience the Joy from Heaven descend to you and overflow to others?
What are 5 things you can thank God for Today?
I hope this is a blessing to you.
