A Prayer for comfort when we can't grasp divine logic ... We can still Trust God!
Father God, in the name of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit we come to you on the behalf of those hurting in this world.
The sadness in this world ...the innocent children..., Father we can't grasp divine logic, but Lord God we do know WHOM YOU are and we trust YOU. Father we lift up the families who are suffering beyond human comprehension ~ whom can only be comforted by YOUR divine Comforting hand ... by the power of Your Holy Spirit we pray that your glory will still be seen in the mist of tragedy! Father we thank YOU for stopping that madness and you did ~ thank you for the heroes that day ... and angels we didn't have the privilege to see, but God we know they were there with those kids ~ oh my Lord holding their little precious hands ....
You are all-knowing Father; and we pray for those suffering now… Father, I believe you allowed those afflicted to be there in the positions in those classes for a purpose as much as we can't understand divine logic, I wonder, what did you really save them from by saving them in their innocence on that day? I pray that many will look to YOU and not look away. Father we trust you that our designation is Heaven and our purpose on earth is to obtain Heaven's Joy and serve our Master and Lord Jesus whom calls us friend.
Father, I confess that I can’t grasp divine logic, and I ask why; but I do understand you love all you have made and you work for good purposes in all you do …and all you give permission to be! Thank You Jesus for the ultimate Rescue…we ask you to be with those who are so much in need right now.
May many come to choose Heaven through this glimpse of life without you…
Love, in Christ, your daughter… Karen
I've tried everything else and it is out of my hands, "I guess I am just going to have to trust God now," I heard my friend say!
“Prayer is the essence of the spiritual life without which all ministry loses its meaning. It is the fulfillment of the great commandment to love the Lord with
all our heart, all our soul and all our mind. To pray is to unite ourselves with
Jesus and lift up the whole world through him to God in a cry of forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, and mercy. Most of all, prayer is the way to become
and remain part of Jesus’ mission to draw all people to the intimacy of God’s
love.” - Henri Nouwen, The Only Necessary Thing: Living a Prayerful Life
Trusting God starts with a believing prayer.
When we talk to God, He listens. And if we know that HE hears us, then we know that HE cares.
God loves us.
Talk to HIM often and start right now. Prayer is just talking and listening ... communicating with your living Father God!
Here are some examples of simple prayers for you.
A) Dear God, I am coming to you because you said that I can. I am coming to you because you want me to. I am coming to you because I need you. I am coming to you in the way that you made possible in your Son's name, whom you sent and gave the name, Jesus.
B) I thank you for loving me. And I thank you for understanding and forgiving me. I thank you for the wonderful peace that fills in me. Please guide me today, each and every day. Keep me straight and narrow. Thank you that your goodness and mercy follows me all of the days of my life!
Pray from the honesty of your heart and In Jesus' name, say Amen, which means I agree with you God and thank you, for I do believe you hear my prayers!
Tell Jesus, "I love you". Invite the Holy Spirit to minister to you!
A Prayer for God to be real to you!
A) Dear God, I have never known you, but I have heard about you.
Is it really possible to know you?
B) Dear Jesus, I have heard your name, but I have never known you to be true.
My ancestors didn’t really believe in you. Some believe with such faith, but I
just can’t. I need some help just between me and you.
Please speak to me in a way that I can know that these words I hear are the truth.
Can you be real to me too?
Please give me faith, because I need your help. Please dear Lord Help me.
If you are real, please be real to me, I may need a miracle to see you through
my fear. I have been this way for a very long time, have you really loved me this whole time. It is a lot to ask, I know that is true, but this is serious, if I really need to know you.
I have doubts, but please understand, I have been taught this way. So for a moment, I will let down my guard, to ask you to come into my heart.
They say I will know, I don’t know what to expect; I just don’t understand your power I guess. Maybe today I will get a glance. Could I sense your presence
or see your face; maybe a sign or a measure of faith. I am missing something
in my ability to know, please dear Father make yourself known to me
C) Dear Jesus, I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of the LIVING God and I ask you to live in me and teach me to live and love like you. Thank you dear Jesus, your name is so sweet to me.
Remember Dear Readers,
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten Son that whosoever believes in HIM shall not parish, but have everlasting life."
God bless you,
