Introduction: God births Salvation in us!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Defintion: Salvation means to effect successfully the full delivery of someone or something from impending danger. The very word carries with it a two-fold implication!
Birthing: Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Learning: Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
Maturing: Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
God allows trials to come to us as opportunities to grow and mature in the faith God gives us.
Salvation is so much more than just what we can get...it is about what God has already given; and choosing to make decisions for God's Praise to be a light to His Glory.
When life becomes more about God and others than about ourselves, abundant life is discovered.
The things money can't buy is this life with God.
The abundant life is found in the life that gives from the heart (spirit) where Jesus Christ lives and the Holy Spirit resides as our helper and guide to all that pleases God!
Believing is the beginning; and God has begun a good work in us! We are saved by believing in our heart that Jesus died for my sins and Jesus rose again by the power of God so that I might also live in Christ this life God sent His Son for us as a gift unto our working Salvation!
Being saved is our individual vertical climb to our personal life and relationship with God, but we also have a cross to bear for each other on this earth as long as God calls it Today; we have purpose and our purpose is to learn how to let the light of Jesus come out of us to shine for others to see. Praying, helping, encouraging and being a light in this dark world for others to see the way to Christ is our purpose and this is worked out in our horizontal transformation!
The Vertical, Christ has done for us! We are saved by the blood of Jesus; no of our own doing, so that no man can boast; it is a gift of God!
The Horizonal, Christ enables us, strengthens us and has sent us a helper called the Holy Spirit for a purpose. To learn, grow and mature in our faith in Christ, so that we are not only being transformed into the image of Christ, but also, we are enabled to let the light of Jesus come out of us to shine for God's glory to be both seen and desired!
It is not us they see; it is Christ in us that is desirable!
I hope you will join me on this journey, as the Holy Spiriit is teaching us how to let this light come out of us to shine God's light of love into this dark world that will drawl others out of the darkness to seek the light that is only from God and through coming to know and beleive in the love of God that Jesus born to demonstrate, die for and God So loved the World that three days later... Jesus is Risen from the dead!
Now, we have this awesome opportunity to life with God in this place of peace with joy and Wisdom from Heaven that we might have life and have it more abundantly!
Would you like to learn how?
Please join me as the Holy Spirit leads and teaches us!
I hope this is a blessing to you. In the Name of Jesus, I share by my faith.
