Perfect! This Word from God Perfectly sums up what the Spirit of the Lord has been teaching me!  Philippians is a perfect place to learn from on this subject of what it means to be working out your Salvation!

If you would like to read this blog? see Below Post.   Thank you for joing us @ Hope in Today Ministries www.hopeintoday.com .

On a funny note, In this Philippines Chapter, I couldn't help but to notice the word Bowels!

Mark Lowry explained the culture changes in wording that means the same in context. The Word bowels in this time of culture meant heart and I have been taught that heart means Spirit. Holy Spirit makes our spirit new and then we begin our transformation.

Mark called out what that would sound like today to say "I love you with all my bowels" hee hee. get it with all my heart ♡ said with Jesus smiles in my heart ♡

I hope this is a blessing to you!

Love in Christ, Karen

Let us begin learning, as it is God who is teaching us all –but as far as it depends on me; I am called, that if it possible, as far as it depends on me, I am to remain at peace with everyone. This is our praise to God that we are able. Love is the process of abiding in Jesus, whom is the love of God He gave to the world; and whom is the love we know and believe, that enables us to trust in God and trust also in His Son. This is the process of learning the abundant life with God, which is God with us and God abiding in us.

Working out your Salvation; what does that really mean? By Karen Rowe March 6, 2016

God began a good work in us when we believed in our heart and confessed with our mouth that Jesus is Lord.

If we are going to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, then we also have to believe in our heart that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

To really get to enjoy the benefits of Salvation on this earth as it is in Heaven, we have to believe and trust to follow His Holy Spirit, whom lives in our spirit to help us make good choices that are good and pleasing to God’s good will.

Salvation means to effect successfully the full delivery of someone or something from impending danger. The very word carries with it a two-fold implication!

The meaning of impending danger:  Likely to happen soon, (threatening) (about to occur).

Only a sick person needs a doctor and man is desperately ill!  If something effects emotions, Salvation is needed to survive in this world through Jesus.

We need Jesus to effect sucessfully the full delivery from recklessness because of despire.

Don't be willing to run any risk!

Are you willing to work out your Salvation?

So working out your Salvation is praising God. Let everything you do be a praise unto God. That your choices are more determined by what you know that God would like you to do, more than your emotions want to pride fully stand against God; and in opposition of what God wants you to do.

Human Emotions alone will tend to want us to stand and be in opposition of God –to remain stubborn and to remain angry. But what does God really call us to do? God calls us to work out our salvation through Christ, a good work that is begun, and is finished through our Salvation on this earth as we are being transformed into the image of His Son.

Believing in Jesus is just not enough; we need the Holy Spirit to help us survive in this world, because we have to work out our Salvation for a purpose. That we have a light in Christ. That Jesus is our light, whom shines through us for the world to see that does not understand how it is possible to go from an anger that is justified to a forgiveness that is only by Grace.

People see that glow on us –when they see the Holy Spirit is alive in us. This is the light of Jesus who lives in; and shines through us. The world seeks what they don’t know –the world represents the sinner; and the world seeks all things it desires, but in all the wrong places and in all the wrong ways; the temporary pleasures of curiosity and entertainment. This desire to be happy and joyful with contentment is a quality of attainment we are created in, but the way to life is Jesus and God’s Way is one. The world is jealous of this light they see, but cannot understand, but amazingly enough, it is the very light that God uses to draw the world unto Himself.

Again, working out our Salvation is not by the works we do, but rather by the grace that saves us and works through us for a purpose of demonstrating God’s Character to the world.

KJV  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Eph 2:8 ).

Working out our Salvation is like making Bread. God has provided all the ingredients to make the bread, but He instructed us to use them and the Bible tells us how! And, there is an active ingredient that is the way for the bread to rise to bake and become bread, which is called yeast. Even the yeast must be added with water and set to warm to rise. And so it is with us in Christ. Christ in us is the bread of Life and the Holy Spirit is our helper that it is God who has accomplished all things!

We can’t make yeast rise, without the yeast being made yeast.

We can't work out Salvation, without Salvation being made Salvation unto us ...

So it is by the grace of our Salvation, that we can work out our Salvation.  Salvation that is though Jesus being made Salvation by God as God's gift unto us who will believe!

It is not by our works that we are saved; it is by the work of God in us through the blood of Jesus that we have been saved.

It is through Jesus Christ our Lord that we are saved.

Because God has begun a good work in us, we can continue to work out our Salvation by making living Sacrifices everyday unto our good Lord as our praise to Him.

We can praise God for the forgiveness of our sins, thus, and therefore we are able to forgive others for what is wrongly done to, or against us, because we are forgiven and Jesus died for sin atonement.

This is our praise to God; that we can praise God for forgiveness –and then with Praise and thanksgiving, we can enter into God’s Presence to worship God; and pray. It is a praise to God that He has made a way for us to come near to Him in Praise and Worship. It is a praise to God that we can pray!

I can’t work out your Salvation and you can’t work out mine.

Working out our Salvation is personal between us and God. It is a praise to God that He knows us as an individual and still sees us as a family!  So it is when God hears the harmony of two or more who are gathered together in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we can pray; and know that God will not turn a deaf ear to the harmony of “Gathered Together in His Name.”

But what must God hear, and how must God respond when He hears Salvation without sanctification through Christ?

So how do we work out our Salvation?

We learn how to abide in Love! God is love. What is love? Beyond knowing that God is love and that God has SO loved the world to believe on Jesus for your own Salvation, working out your Salvation is learning how to be transformed into the image of God’s Son, whom is the very nature of God’s love that God gave the world to believe in and follow; as we mature in Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.

When Salvation comes to us, we can know the love of God pumps through our main artery of life that feeds our heart and soul (spirit and mind) and new capability in Christ who gives us strength to please God, because we know Him!

For example, when you become angry –tempting thoughts and opposing pride will begin to fill your soul, but remember who you chose to live for when you first believed in John 3:16.

Working out your Salvation is by choosing to seek God’s Way. By remembering who you chose to live for; and remembering who is your strength to live by! By remembering whom Jesus is for you, you are capable and equipped to live by choosing blessings and life in those everyday moments filled with temptation to oppose abiding in God.

Working out your Salvation is choosing to live God’s Way, through Jesus who chose to live and die for you to live.

Now, as we each work out our Salvation we are being purified in the holiness of God to effectively gather together in His Name to Worship and Pray together the powerful and effective prayers!

Why would we have to work out our salvation if it is finished for us? I see two reasons:

  1. My Salvation is for me. I am not holy, I am being made holy –although I am credited Righteousness by my faith in Christ; I am still being made holy on this earth; as long as my vertical climb lasts here on earth as I mature in Christ.
  2. My Salvation has a purpose on this earth.

We can join together and pray for others to come to Jesus and believe for their Salvation in Jesus Christ to begin a new life in them that are still in this world –as we all sinners in need of a Savior.

Isaiah 64:6King James Version (KJV)

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Working out the good work that God has begun!

For example, If you are angry and you want to do what you want to do, but you know you can’t pray for that you want to do, because God will want you to pray for the opposite of what you desire to do in your emotional anger, emotional pride, emotional envy –or any emotional justifications. You have an intercessor; that you can ask God that the Holy Spirit will pray for you in intercession for what you are not even willing to pray for; and be still and know that God is God; as you believe on Jesus. And, know that it is God who will do the good work in you.

We are not able to do that on our own. We need a helper; we need prayers, we need to be praying for each other; and we need to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit prayer.

Working out our Salvation is our individual response to Jesus.

No one can work our Salvation for us. However, if we work out our Salvation, we can join together and pray the unified prayers. As in a marriage; as in the Church, God hears the prayer that is unified, and united in Salvation. God hears the united prayer that is united together in forgiveness! That our hearts are purified and cleansed from any unrighteous feelings, or thoughts, or ill-favors that we wish upon someone; and even our conscience is cleansed, through Christ.

The Bible says that if they would repent of their evil ways, then God would repent of the evil thoughts he has against them; and further says, that since they would not repent of their evil ways, then God would repent of the good that He desires to do unto them. That is good enough for me to know that God has the ways of the world under control; and that He has a good handle on His Plan.

God is not surprised!

As far as it depends on me, I need to stay in God’s plan for me; as far as it depends on me.

Working out our Salvation is our individual response to God’s plan for us though Christ, who gives us strength –through the Joy, the Wisdom from Heaven, the peace that Jesus has revealed and sent to us through the redemptive blood and the Holy Spirit revealed.

Salvation will come to all that God draws near.

Those that were chosen shut their eyes to Christ and wanted to follow the law. God caused their blindness to be jealousy to desire Salvation. By grace we are saved, not by good works. On bended knee in humility we have been given a good measure of faith from God through Christ to come near to Him.

We can come to God, receive our Salvation and work out our Salvation the good work that was begun in us through the work of Christ and continues to be the good work that God works through us –not of our own doings, but thought us as evidence we are in Christ.

We are reproved daily in the Word of God.

We think our ways are right, but God says take another look!

God’s Word says to read to know God’s desire, which is His Will. The Bible is God’s word to us –our Gift to know God’s Character and His Will; and to begin to know how to pray. Above all, God’s Word advises us to seek understanding; that above all we get –Get understanding.

God’s Word will reprove to you God’s will for your benefit, as an opportunity to transform your mind to come into agreement with God and His thoughts, which is according to God’s good will in order to be transformed into the image of His Son.

The Bible says in Proverbs Chapter 3:

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed (Proverbs 3:3 AMP).

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps (Proverbs 3:9 KJV).

In closing, some final thoughts: Jesus is hope and yes there is always hope in Jesus as long as God calls it Today!

If you (if the Holy Spirit does not speak to you) to agree with what we believe in Hope in Today Ministries, then we are not mad at you or angry with you, we still love you in Christ.  This is what we believe.

Hope in Today Ministries believes in the Salvation of the Lord. We believe God has SO loved (you) the world that He gave His only begotten Son that (for you) whosoever shall believe on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life!

John 3:16-17King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Hope in Today Ministries believes that our Hope is Jesus; and Jesus is our assurance of the things we hope for.  Jesus is the life and assurance in our faith that is free from doubt!

An example of reckless:

  1. Reckless because of despair (Violent) (Suicide is a desparate act).
  2. Willing to run any risk (The boy played with a loaded gun) (Reckless driving causes many automobile accidents).

Pray for God's knowledge and understanding to come to you and know our hope is found in Jesus.  The Holy Spirit is our helper and our comfort and guide to have life and have life more abundantly!

We hope this is a blessing to you!
