Welcome to  Hope in Today Ministries!

As we grow and learn, it becomes time to remodel when we realize that we don't have to share every single detail as we learn.

So, I will add, please be patient as it s time to remodel this website.

I hope to encourage you and inspire you to read the Word of God.  You won't regret spending your time seeking God's knowledge and understanding to be the best you can be and the wonderful peace, joy, assurance and confidence that will fill your soul to overflow!

If you are empty feeling inside? Seek God and FILL up with His Spirit and Word of Truth!  You will be revived, refreshed and renewed; and if you get this from God, you will never be the same!

I hope this is a blessing to you.  A blessing is to SPEAK WELL, so I hope this is an encouragement to learn the Word of God, grow in God's Knowledge and learn to SPEAK WELL (TRUTH) to yourself, to those around you; and to your situations that come to you to test your faith ,and with the opportunity to grow in your faith, which is your trust in God...

We grow in our trust, by the experiences we have and based on our knowledge that the Truth never fails.

Love, ~Karen

I share as the Lord teaches and enables me to learn, grow, and write of my experiences.

I believe that our situations are not unique; we are!

So, I share my common writings based on personal experiences, that we all face at one time or another in this life; and in this broken world ... continually.

I hope you find inspiration and encouragement to Seek God and Read His Word to you. These are the things that I find helpful to me in this world, which is our gift from God.

We are imperfect and flawed people; and we are have the opportunity to grow and mature in our faith every day.

I believe we all go through times that we need spiritual encouragement from the Lord, and many times this hand up can come from a brother or sister in Christ.

Let's face it, there is an enemy in this world, but I truely believe he uses the same bag of tricks only different disquises.  We can idenitfy the deception and stand firm in the Lord against the wales of the enemy that come against the very place in our hearts where we are most vulnerable.  We are able and equipped and Jesus Christ gives us the courage and Peace and Joy too!

We have a Savior and His Name is Jesus!  He died for our sins, was buried for 3 days and rose again by the power of God.  Do you know and believe in your Savior yet?  Jesus loves you.  Will you pray and tell God how grateful you are?

I hope you find these posts helpful to you.  I hope to spend more time from this day forward right here with you and others who just want to grow in our faith together.

Dear Father God in Heaven, I thank you for the deliverence of my soul to you.  I thank you for the knowledge you have trusted me to know; and I am grateful that you have been so kind to me to help me understand your love that You have given to the world to not ONLY to know and believe in You as our Creator, but that You gave your Son, Jesus to die for me so I can live with You; and not only me, but for all who will believe.

Father God, this is the miracle we are eternally grateful for!

Now, we ask you, Father God, in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Spirit to reveal this teaching to the readers and those who attend the class by the same annointing Spirit that delivered this teaching series to me.  This is not of my own doing, this is the power of You my loving God, my Father who teaches me well, How to Survive in this world after the Miracle through Jesus.

As, the Holy Spirit prays in me, Father I sense some need to know your love for them.  I ask you Father to deliver them from the darkness of unbeliving to the light of the knowledge of your Word to come to know and believe in the love You have for them.

I ask You all this in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, who is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, whom we are praying to at this time.  As I pray for your help to deliver our word well; and praise You for all you have already done, I also pray an intercessory prayer for those whom I don't know; nor do I know their situation, YET, I know YOU know them and all that concerns them.  Please let this be an example of Your devoted and faithful love for them.  I love you my God, my Father and I love you Jesus, You are my Friend.  Thank you for the gifts You graciously give and the life you gave to all who will believe.  Holy Spirit you are Welcome here.  In Jesus Name I pray.  Amen.

What is the meaning of Salvation? By Karen Rowe March 14, 2016

Posted by Karen Rowe on March 15, 2016 at 11:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Introduction: God births Salvation in us!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Defintion: Salvation means to effect successfully the full delivery of someone or something from impending danger. The very word carries with it a two-fold implication!

Birthing:  Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Learning:  Psalms 143:10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Maturing:  Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

God allows trials to come to us as opportunities to grow and mature in the faith God gives us.

Salvation is so much more than just what we can get...it is about what God has already given; and choosing to make decisions for God's Praise to be a light to His Glory.

When life becomes more about God and others than about ourselves, abundant life is discovered.

The things money can't buy is this life with God.

The abundant life is found in the life that gives from the heart (spirit) where Jesus Christ lives and the Holy Spirit resides as our helper and guide to all that pleases God!

Believing is the beginning; and God has begun a good work in us!  We are saved by believing in our heart that Jesus died for my sins and Jesus rose again by the power of God so that I might also live in Christ this life God sent His Son for us as a gift unto our working Salvation!

Being saved is our individual vertical climb to our personal life and relationship with God, but we also have a cross to bear for each other on this earth as long as God calls it Today; we have purpose and our purpose is to learn how to let the light of Jesus come out of us to shine for others to see.  Praying, helping, encouraging and being a light in this dark world for others to see the way to Christ is our purpose and this is worked out in our horizontal transformation!

The Vertical, Christ has done for us!  We are saved by the blood of Jesus; no of our own doing, so that no man can boast; it is a gift of God!

The Horizonal, Christ enables us, strengthens us and has sent us a helper called the Holy Spirit for a purpose.  To learn, grow and mature in our faith in Christ, so that we are not only being transformed into the image of Christ, but also, we are enabled to let the light of Jesus come out of us to shine for God's glory to be both seen and desired!

It is not us they see; it is Christ in us that is desirable!

I hope you will join me on this journey, as the Holy Spiriit is teaching us how to let this light come out of us to shine God's light of love into this dark world that will drawl others out of the darkness to seek the light that is only from God and through coming to know and beleive in the love of God that Jesus born to demonstrate, die for and God So loved the World that three days later... Jesus is Risen from the dead!

Now, we have this awesome opportunity to life with God in this place of peace with joy and Wisdom from Heaven that we might have life and have it more abundantly!

Would you like to learn how?

Please join me as the Holy Spirit leads and teaches us!

I hope this is a blessing to you. In the Name of Jesus, I share by my faith.

Welcome to this series by Hope in Today: “Let Your Light Shine!”

Do we know how to get that light of Jesus to come out of us to Shine for The Christ?

If only we could see what God sees just around the bend, we wouldn’t need faith to get there. Are you willing to trust God and trust in what God sees by your faith? If we didn’t need faith, God wouldn’t have given us a measure of faith to use for a purpose. What is faith and why does faith please God? And, what is the benefit of your faith that propels you into a better future? Faith is the freedom from doubt to follow Jesus; and faith matures through experiences that come from trusting in God.

What is it that has you feeling downcast? What is it that you most desire in this world, but it all seems to be going so wrong? Are you willing to believe in God’s love for you and are you willing to do what Jesus has done for you; and pick up your cross for the good of another?

Are you willing to believe that God wants the best for you? Are you willing to wait up on God’s best plans for you? Can you trust God long enough to get the lasting real deal -or will you allow your emotions to carry you away to a place that God has not ordained for you?

TRIALS COME TO EXERCISE OUR SENSES TO DISCERN GOOD AND EVIL, AS WE GROW AND MATURE IN OUR FAITH IN CHRIST.

When all appears dark and hope seems to be gone, be still and pray…The Holy Spirit helper will pray for you. Fill your mind with remembrance of what is the Truth that God teaches us in His Word! Seek the Truth and stay in the Truth. The Truth is Jesus and the truth will set you free!

Believe that hope is beautiful and trust in God and also trust in His Son!

Just around the bend in life’s situations, if we will hold on to what is right in God’s eyes, then we will see what God already knew was waiting on us to find! If we will hold on to our faith in God and abide in His Truth, we will see what God knows is around that bend …the real things we hope for but do not see YET! Then we will see and also experience grace set us free! And we will know the Truth protected us and the Truth set us free!

Don’t fall to believe in the lies of your real enemy to trick you into following him into a worse place that Satan sprinkled with glitter. Believe God and follow Jesus and hold on to your faith!

God’s reward is great! Just around the bend is more happiness than you can possibly imagine or hope for…if you are willing?  Just around the bend, you can have all you have hoped for that is good and pure in God’s eyes.

But are you willing to be still and know God is God and abide in this love He calls us to abide in?

The purpose in today’s word of the Lord (Romans 8:28  )  is greater than what you see before you. Read on…Romans 8:29

Believe and hold onto your faith. God won’t bring faith that seeks to please HIM back void.

I hope this is a blessing to you. In the Name of Jesus, I share by my faith.

Welcome to this series by Hope in Today: “Let Your Light Shine!”

Do we know how to get that light of Jesus to come out of us to Shine for The Christ?

I just jotted this down as inspiration to notice how we treat people and remember God is our source and God is our provider of all things we need.  Sometimes, people want to take care of the securites that are fake in this world, like finances, etc.  We need to remember that God loves us and HE is our only real and true and lasting security.

Read this with tender ears, because I just jotted this down as a passing thought.

This morning they were waiting with Grace. This morning was evidence they saw my faith. This morning they behaved with expectation. This morning was evidence that they believed I knew their hope.

Yes, I am talking about those horses I love to feed! My favorite chore is that I love to feed the horses hay.

Day by day they would gobble up their hay –and wait with anticipation of the next time that they only hoped I knew their need; that somehow their ninny would communicate their hunger to me –and it did.

Today, however something new happened. They were positioned in expectation and they were positioned by God’s grace to teach me something about our faith.

Will you follow along with me just a minute and reflect on your own faith and think about God’s perspective as He teaches us ours.

Once, we fed one large round bale every 2 weeks. However, the round bales were gone and we were blessed by square bales to feed for the remainder of the winter-time; and until grass comes on strong once again by God’s good grace.

Square bales are more expensive, but brings with them a simplier blessing that smaller bales are more opportunities to demonstrate our faithfulness to feed each horse plenty until we are assured that they are satisfied.

Now, the Lord reminds me of how much greater is God’s provisions unto our every need?

Yet, let’s think about our reactions as we listen to the voice of God; and as we read this about a horse.

Day by day, because now that a large round bale as not at the ready convenience of our horse's unlimited supply of hay, the horses seemed to get greedy -and it took a strange horse in our herd to press them to this new line of defense.  Now, think about that strange person, or situation that comes in your life that presses you to the limits of behaving in your natural human instinctive reactions, but against your normal character...

Amie Lou began to chase off the smaller horses as if to say, don’t eat what I will want later; as if to know that when this feeding was eaten and gone, there would be a wait by “faith” on the next feeding. Obviously, the horses new reaction was demonstrating more instincts with doubt and self-survival, than assurance in their trust in their provisions –until today.

How much do you trust God for your provisions?  This is the thought the Holy Spirit is stirring in me.

God provides for us like this -day by day enough and all we will need, but our reactions show how grateful we are to God; and our faithfulness to patience and kindness shows our trust in the source we have in God through Christ -and yet, God still provides for all.

Grace showed up for me to see in this way that I can teach you what God revealed to me about faith; and how we treat each other in regards to getting what we need.

Conistency teaches faith!

Today, the horses showed me that they knew where I would place hay in abundance and they were calmly positioned expectantly awaiting their portions. Two horses on one side of the barn; two on the other and one down next to the pond. There was absolutely no fighting or bickering among them this morning. No chasing the other away from what they wanted for later. There was peace in the field and the horses looked well.

Now, it is good to know that one of these horses is not ours and by all means aside from our faith, hope and love that brought us to the attention of another person’s need –it shouldn’t be here, because of the living sacrifice of our blessing for the good of another.  This is the horse that pressed our other horses ... But this is the faith that I preach –the faith the Jesus teaches me; and the faith that the Holy Spirit reminds and enables me by!

This horse, with a mouthful of hay, happily munching on breakfast, watched me from over the fence and over a raised up pallet that was leaned against the fence, as if to say to me, I know what you have done. This horse almost spoke to my mind that she knew I did for her what perhaps she hadn’t deserved. She has an attitude and is in a lot of pain, mixed together she has been a thorn in our side to have in our pasture. Yet, we treat her the same. We feed her plenty. We even go out of our way to meet her needs with compassion, because she can't get along as well.  She has seemed bitter. But we treat her the same, unconditional of her behavior against us or the rest of our herd. Why, because of the love God is, who lives in us.

This by demonstration is the way God cares for us. He is our provider. He is our lover. He is our provider of everything we need and He is whom we depend on for everything that is beyond our reach; and the provider of everything that is attainable! But do we trust Him? Do we believe? Do we hope with faith (assurance / conviction)?

Today, think about your needs, but look to God and ask Him about trust.

Ask God to teach you how to be a giver –as you trust God is the supplier. Ask God if you have been a taker in His eyes; as far as He has seen your heart; and seen things that you may not have realized yet. Ask God to know His Grace and find that rest in your faith that you can appreciate your supply and enjoy your provisions.

Praise God with your respect as you position yourself where you know your portion lies, and look to God with admiration that He is the lover of all. Look to God with eyes of acknowledgment that you realize just what God has done for you –because He has SO loved you just as you are.

Think about Jesus and praise God today. Faith is the freedom from doubt that God is God; and the conviction of God’s love for you, by being convinced in what Jesus has done for you.

I hope this is a blessing to you.  In the Name of Jesus, I share by my faith.

Perfect! This Word from God Perfectly sums up what the Spirit of the Lord has been teaching me!  Philippians is a perfect place to learn from on this subject of what it means to be working out your Salvation!

If you would like to read this blog? see Below Post.   Thank you for joing us @ Hope in Today Ministries www.hopeintoday.com .

On a funny note, In this Philippines Chapter, I couldn't help but to notice the word Bowels!

Mark Lowry explained the culture changes in wording that means the same in context. The Word bowels in this time of culture meant heart and I have been taught that heart means Spirit. Holy Spirit makes our spirit new and then we begin our transformation.

Mark called out what that would sound like today to say "I love you with all my bowels" hee hee. get it with all my heart ♡ said with Jesus smiles in my heart ♡

I hope this is a blessing to you!

Love in Christ, Karen

Let us begin learning, as it is God who is teaching us all –but as far as it depends on me; I am called, that if it possible, as far as it depends on me, I am to remain at peace with everyone. This is our praise to God that we are able. Love is the process of abiding in Jesus, whom is the love of God He gave to the world; and whom is the love we know and believe, that enables us to trust in God and trust also in His Son. This is the process of learning the abundant life with God, which is God with us and God abiding in us.

Working out your Salvation; what does that really mean? By Karen Rowe March 6, 2016

God began a good work in us when we believed in our heart and confessed with our mouth that Jesus is Lord.

If we are going to confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, then we also have to believe in our heart that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.

To really get to enjoy the benefits of Salvation on this earth as it is in Heaven, we have to believe and trust to follow His Holy Spirit, whom lives in our spirit to help us make good choices that are good and pleasing to God’s good will.

Salvation means to effect successfully the full delivery of someone or something from impending danger. The very word carries with it a two-fold implication!

The meaning of impending danger:  Likely to happen soon, (threatening) (about to occur).

Only a sick person needs a doctor and man is desperately ill!  If something effects emotions, Salvation is needed to survive in this world through Jesus.

We need Jesus to effect sucessfully the full delivery from recklessness because of despire.

Don't be willing to run any risk!

Are you willing to work out your Salvation?

So working out your Salvation is praising God. Let everything you do be a praise unto God. That your choices are more determined by what you know that God would like you to do, more than your emotions want to pride fully stand against God; and in opposition of what God wants you to do.

Human Emotions alone will tend to want us to stand and be in opposition of God –to remain stubborn and to remain angry. But what does God really call us to do? God calls us to work out our salvation through Christ, a good work that is begun, and is finished through our Salvation on this earth as we are being transformed into the image of His Son.

Believing in Jesus is just not enough; we need the Holy Spirit to help us survive in this world, because we have to work out our Salvation for a purpose. That we have a light in Christ. That Jesus is our light, whom shines through us for the world to see that does not understand how it is possible to go from an anger that is justified to a forgiveness that is only by Grace.

People see that glow on us –when they see the Holy Spirit is alive in us. This is the light of Jesus who lives in; and shines through us. The world seeks what they don’t know –the world represents the sinner; and the world seeks all things it desires, but in all the wrong places and in all the wrong ways; the temporary pleasures of curiosity and entertainment. This desire to be happy and joyful with contentment is a quality of attainment we are created in, but the way to life is Jesus and God’s Way is one. The world is jealous of this light they see, but cannot understand, but amazingly enough, it is the very light that God uses to draw the world unto Himself.

Again, working out our Salvation is not by the works we do, but rather by the grace that saves us and works through us for a purpose of demonstrating God’s Character to the world.

KJV  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Eph 2:8 ).

Working out our Salvation is like making Bread. God has provided all the ingredients to make the bread, but He instructed us to use them and the Bible tells us how! And, there is an active ingredient that is the way for the bread to rise to bake and become bread, which is called yeast. Even the yeast must be added with water and set to warm to rise. And so it is with us in Christ. Christ in us is the bread of Life and the Holy Spirit is our helper that it is God who has accomplished all things!

We can’t make yeast rise, without the yeast being made yeast.

We can't work out Salvation, without Salvation being made Salvation unto us ...

So it is by the grace of our Salvation, that we can work out our Salvation.  Salvation that is though Jesus being made Salvation by God as God's gift unto us who will believe!

It is not by our works that we are saved; it is by the work of God in us through the blood of Jesus that we have been saved.

It is through Jesus Christ our Lord that we are saved.

Because God has begun a good work in us, we can continue to work out our Salvation by making living Sacrifices everyday unto our good Lord as our praise to Him.

We can praise God for the forgiveness of our sins, thus, and therefore we are able to forgive others for what is wrongly done to, or against us, because we are forgiven and Jesus died for sin atonement.

This is our praise to God; that we can praise God for forgiveness –and then with Praise and thanksgiving, we can enter into God’s Presence to worship God; and pray. It is a praise to God that He has made a way for us to come near to Him in Praise and Worship. It is a praise to God that we can pray!

I can’t work out your Salvation and you can’t work out mine.

Working out our Salvation is personal between us and God. It is a praise to God that He knows us as an individual and still sees us as a family!  So it is when God hears the harmony of two or more who are gathered together in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, we can pray; and know that God will not turn a deaf ear to the harmony of “Gathered Together in His Name.”

But what must God hear, and how must God respond when He hears Salvation without sanctification through Christ?

So how do we work out our Salvation?

We learn how to abide in Love! God is love. What is love? Beyond knowing that God is love and that God has SO loved the world to believe on Jesus for your own Salvation, working out your Salvation is learning how to be transformed into the image of God’s Son, whom is the very nature of God’s love that God gave the world to believe in and follow; as we mature in Christ, who is our Lord and Savior.

When Salvation comes to us, we can know the love of God pumps through our main artery of life that feeds our heart and soul (spirit and mind) and new capability in Christ who gives us strength to please God, because we know Him!

For example, when you become angry –tempting thoughts and opposing pride will begin to fill your soul, but remember who you chose to live for when you first believed in John 3:16.

Working out your Salvation is by choosing to seek God’s Way. By remembering who you chose to live for; and remembering who is your strength to live by! By remembering whom Jesus is for you, you are capable and equipped to live by choosing blessings and life in those everyday moments filled with temptation to oppose abiding in God.

Working out your Salvation is choosing to live God’s Way, through Jesus who chose to live and die for you to live.

Now, as we each work out our Salvation we are being purified in the holiness of God to effectively gather together in His Name to Worship and Pray together the powerful and effective prayers!

Why would we have to work out our salvation if it is finished for us? I see two reasons:

  1. My Salvation is for me. I am not holy, I am being made holy –although I am credited Righteousness by my faith in Christ; I am still being made holy on this earth; as long as my vertical climb lasts here on earth as I mature in Christ.
  2. My Salvation has a purpose on this earth.

We can join together and pray for others to come to Jesus and believe for their Salvation in Jesus Christ to begin a new life in them that are still in this world –as we all sinners in need of a Savior.

Isaiah 64:6King James Version (KJV)

6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Working out the good work that God has begun!

For example, If you are angry and you want to do what you want to do, but you know you can’t pray for that you want to do, because God will want you to pray for the opposite of what you desire to do in your emotional anger, emotional pride, emotional envy –or any emotional justifications. You have an intercessor; that you can ask God that the Holy Spirit will pray for you in intercession for what you are not even willing to pray for; and be still and know that God is God; as you believe on Jesus. And, know that it is God who will do the good work in you.

We are not able to do that on our own. We need a helper; we need prayers, we need to be praying for each other; and we need to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit prayer.

Working out our Salvation is our individual response to Jesus.

No one can work our Salvation for us. However, if we work out our Salvation, we can join together and pray the unified prayers. As in a marriage; as in the Church, God hears the prayer that is unified, and united in Salvation. God hears the united prayer that is united together in forgiveness! That our hearts are purified and cleansed from any unrighteous feelings, or thoughts, or ill-favors that we wish upon someone; and even our conscience is cleansed, through Christ.

The Bible says that if they would repent of their evil ways, then God would repent of the evil thoughts he has against them; and further says, that since they would not repent of their evil ways, then God would repent of the good that He desires to do unto them. That is good enough for me to know that God has the ways of the world under control; and that He has a good handle on His Plan.

God is not surprised!

As far as it depends on me, I need to stay in God’s plan for me; as far as it depends on me.

Working out our Salvation is our individual response to God’s plan for us though Christ, who gives us strength –through the Joy, the Wisdom from Heaven, the peace that Jesus has revealed and sent to us through the redemptive blood and the Holy Spirit revealed.

Salvation will come to all that God draws near.

Those that were chosen shut their eyes to Christ and wanted to follow the law. God caused their blindness to be jealousy to desire Salvation. By grace we are saved, not by good works. On bended knee in humility we have been given a good measure of faith from God through Christ to come near to Him.

We can come to God, receive our Salvation and work out our Salvation the good work that was begun in us through the work of Christ and continues to be the good work that God works through us –not of our own doings, but thought us as evidence we are in Christ.

We are reproved daily in the Word of God.

We think our ways are right, but God says take another look!

God’s Word says to read to know God’s desire, which is His Will. The Bible is God’s word to us –our Gift to know God’s Character and His Will; and to begin to know how to pray. Above all, God’s Word advises us to seek understanding; that above all we get –Get understanding.

God’s Word will reprove to you God’s will for your benefit, as an opportunity to transform your mind to come into agreement with God and His thoughts, which is according to God’s good will in order to be transformed into the image of His Son.

The Bible says in Proverbs Chapter 3:

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed (Proverbs 3:3 AMP).

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps (Proverbs 3:9 KJV).

In closing, some final thoughts: Jesus is hope and yes there is always hope in Jesus as long as God calls it Today!

If you (if the Holy Spirit does not speak to you) to agree with what we believe in Hope in Today Ministries, then we are not mad at you or angry with you, we still love you in Christ.  This is what we believe.

Hope in Today Ministries believes in the Salvation of the Lord. We believe God has SO loved (you) the world that He gave His only begotten Son that (for you) whosoever shall believe on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life!

John 3:16-17King James Version (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Hope in Today Ministries believes that our Hope is Jesus; and Jesus is our assurance of the things we hope for.  Jesus is the life and assurance in our faith that is free from doubt!

An example of reckless:

  1. Reckless because of despair (Violent) (Suicide is a desparate act).
  2. Willing to run any risk (The boy played with a loaded gun) (Reckless driving causes many automobile accidents).

Pray for God's knowledge and understanding to come to you and know our hope is found in Jesus.  The Holy Spirit is our helper and our comfort and guide to have life and have life more abundantly!

We hope this is a blessing to you!

...And, by testimony, the answer to WHY DO WE NEED JESUS?

What is it that tears our heart apart, then rips our emotions into shreds; only to make us ultimately sin? What is this sin? By Karen Rowe, February 29, 2016

Life with Jesus is easy –but the world makes it hard. We are drastically human and flawed –are you willing to admit with me?

People are hard –like two gritting metals against each other, we rub each other till it hurts –if you will allow someone in your life long enough.

Let’s talk about fake –Well that’s all I had to say about lies, because Jesus only deals with the truth. Truth is raw and it hurts, but what is it about the truth that sets us free?

JESUS.

Jesus is the truth that sets us free!

Think about your hurt –Jesus is the only truth that sets you free.

Think about the insult –Jesus is the only truth that sets you free.

Think about the anger –Jesus is the only truth that sets you free.

Think about the situation and what lies are circulating around and through your head? Think about the situation and Jesus is the only truth that sets you free.

People tend to desire the feeling of fitting in –a sense of normal; a sense of completeness; a sense of nonsense, because Jesus is the only one who completes a bunch of imperfect wannabee fools.

Let’s talk about stubborn –Well that’s all I had to say about pride, because Jesus only deals with humility. Humility is strength and courage that no mere human can understand. So, what is it about humility that is so appealing to you and me?

JESUS.

Jesus is our Way –Our Truth and Life and strength to walk according to God’s way.

Moral of this story?

Do not be conformed to the patterns of this world –Do not think, or fall for that trick that you can get away with doing or saying what you want; and are angry or envious enough to sin with your words / or actions –that is not founded in God’s Way of love, because you will get exactly what you ask for.

But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Do not sleep on your angry thoughts, and give the devil a foothold over your anger toward whom God has put in your life.

God’s Word must be heard in your heart to free you from all things –so Read it out loud and listen carefully to hear what God is saying to you. I will listen for me. You should listen for you. Together, in Christ, we can listen together.

So do you think that your situation is much different than mine? Do you think that I can escape the penalty of human?

Only by the blood of Jesus can I surrender to be in God’s command –and love another like God loves me.

And, only by the blood of Jesus can another surrender to be in God’s command to love me when I am unlovable.

Only by the blood of this Wisdom, whom lives in me by the Name of Jesus, can I surrender my stubborn, emotional and prideful ways to be freely loved and also love free.

There is a forgiveness in Jesus.

There is a compassion in Jesus.

There is a transformer in Jesus; and it is Jesus who is transforming me.

Otherwise, am I any different than a regular person?

Only in Christ.

Only in Jesus.

Only in the One who first loved me.

Surrendered in the love of God and committed to abide in His Son, JESUS!

Even so, I know a test with a trial will come again to prove my heart to see; It may appear that fail alone, but in Christ I am maturing!

–and finally I will learn Christ had me all along!  Eventually, I will learn to choose my words and thoughts Wisely with Wisdom; and in turn live more and more Successfully in Christ.

Jesus is the Name in whom enables me. Jesus is the Name, whom is my Strength; and whose Spirit is my Desire. Jesus is the Name and the power, through Him that I can control that which desires to control me.

Only by the Holy Spirit –Only by the blood of Jesus.

Redemption through His Blood

Hebrews Chapter 9

…13For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been defiled sanctify for the cleansing of the flesh, 14how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.…

I hope this is a blessing and an help to you too.  This truly is a living example of how the Lord helped me and now I see clearly who my enemy was, the lies that were from the enemy; and I can testify fully to the life and freedoms that are found only in Christ Jesus our Lord!

And also, we learn what we can be, when we learn to be friends in Christ, and trust in the love that just is, because of the Creation of God in us, the love God gave us through redemption, and the Holy Spirit director of love whom dwells in us.

Proverbs 27:17King James Version (KJV)

17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Claim the Truth! Letting Go and Living Free! By Karen Rowe January 6, 2016

Posted by Karen Rowe on January 6, 2016 at 8:40 PM Comments comments (0)

I hope this finds you well!  And, if you are struggling, please know that the light of the Lord is the Truth and the light will lift the control of the darkness away.  I hope to return to edit this, but as for now, I pray that God will reveal a blessing of light to you in your situation.

The spirit of the Lord will teach us in every opportunity.  I believe this is good to share today, because the Bible says "do not boast in, nor deny the truth" in James Chapter 3; and further says in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, to rejoice in the Truth.   And in 1 James 4:16 we further learn a glorious truth that God is love!  With instuctions from God:  We are to "Abide in love; and he who abides in love abides in God and God in him."  In God there is no lie -Jesus is the Truth; and the truth shall set you free!  And, Patience and Kindness are to be remembered among all good things, always remember to trust God, and do the right thing to please God and that is exactly what is good for our soul!

Confession is telling God what He already knows!

Spiritual Introduction:

The Spirit of the Lord woke me up with the introduction to this writing that I hope to share with you today. The Spirit of the Lord said, “Have you ever pushed water drops together and watched them merge into ONE drop of water?”

And, just as one drop at a time the drop grows in size, mass and volume, we grow in Christ, who is the Truth. Claiming the truth is God’s way to merge with Him, His power, His authority, His Wisdom, His Peace, His Joy, God’s Holy Spiritual Freedom –in the way we are merged in God's love, the very being or whom God is, through all Jesus has done for us when we claim the blood of Jesus as our spiritual life blood.

What is the truth? The truth is the fact!  No matter of the situations we find ourselves in; nor the good or bad circumstances that we stumble into by choices we make in our life, or the challenges that we are faced with to grow up in Christ, the truth is the fact. Jesus is the Truth and in Him there is power in the truth, because of whom God is and what God values and responds to! Satan wants to lead anyone who will follow astray from the truth, because even he knows the power of God and the power God gives to a man of ingrity to the truth.

There are many spirits in this world –the spirit of darkness, the spirit of confusion, the spirit of alcoholism, the spirit of addiction, the spirit of sympathy, the spirit of laziness, the spirit of selfishness, the spirit of greed, the spirit of anything that is opposed with God’s Word. However, there is only one Holy Spirit and Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Life.

The Bible teaches us, do not boast in the truth, nor deny the truth.  The Bible teaches us to rejoice in the truth!

The spirit of lying or denial will work on your emotions with fear and with that fear comes agitation, worry, regret, burdens and a human responsibility to attempt to avoid the truth –but the Truth can’t be avoided; nor can the consequences of disobediance, but the truth will set our spirit free and fill our soul with God's peace and joy unconditionally.  We can only try to hide or deny the truth for a while.  We must be careful how long we entertain tempations of fear to avoid the truth.  The Truth in Jesus is our security!  Always remember that! God is our security and our seal is the Holy Spirit. The Truth is not our enemy –The Truth is God’s Way; and Jesus is God’s living teacher, who is the Truth, the Way and the Life for us to follow God's Way!

The Bible is our Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth!

So, in all things, read the Bible to fully understand what God’s Word teaches us about What Would Jesus Do! God’s word is like water drops coming down from Heaven for us to merge into the wholeness of God –one drop at a time; and through one challenge at a time. The more we merge with God’s Holy Water of Truth, Life and Blood, the more powerful our spirit becomes in Christ. Just as many drops will form a stream and streams flow and grow into life producing rivers.

It is no longer me, but Christ who is living in me!

Take all your burdens and anxiety to the Lord –the Holy Spirit is your comfort and Shield. I pray you have made Jesus welcome in your life; and I pray you have invited the Holy Spirit to come live in you that God’s Spirit is made to feel welcome in your spiritual heart ... the true life of who you are and will forever be!

If you have not asked God of these things, take time now and speak in the presence of God and I pray with you.

Let us begin with what the Lord revealed to me yesterday when this writing began:

The Truth is the facts –The Truth is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth; and let’s face it, sometimes we don’t like to admit to –or forgive another for the facts that we are faced with, but let’s look at it this way. We must claim the truth and confess the truth, because of the spirits we are faced with in this world are both holy and unholy, we need spiritual discernment and the Truth is the Way!  The unholy spirit tempts from the father of lies, whose name is Satan!  We have been given a simple choice and who to follow has been defined by God!  A choice that is not complicated or hard, but one that is responsible and in the truth, but we each need to read the Bible and pray for ourself that we do in fact know what God wants us to know ... the things God knows we NEED to know to survive well in this world through Jesus!

Be sure you are protected from lies and the devastation from the unholy spirit that is loosed in this world for a short time longer!  Our great and authentic and living hope is Jesus Christ, God's Holy Son!

God is the Truth and in Him there is no lie –Jesus portrayed the Father God whom is the Truth, the Way and the Life! Don't be without the truth, which is being in God's presence, because there is another who portrays another father that is loose in this world for a time being, and Satan is the emeny of God and the father of lies. Please be aware of your real enemy.  The real enemy is NOT the truth, but rather the one who portrays the opposite of God’s Ways and Word with disception and everything that is anti-Christ.  Your enemy is the father of lies; and his name is Satan. You see him every day through his evil deeds and lies.  But lies ONLY have the ability to manipulate our mind if we entertain the fears that come with them.

We see Jesus every day through good deeds too! We see Jesus through good men, like my husband, who does things that are not the best for him, but the best for others! Such humility is humbling!!!

Facts are facts, but how we face the facts is vital to life with God and blessings under His care. Our son was faced with this decision in school and the truth has set him free! Yes, there is a consequence for our disobedience to the truth, but the truth is what will set us free! No amount of worrying will change the facts. I taught our son this week, to claim the truth! It is his! Don’t deny the truth or walk around the truth! Claim the truth –and the truth shall set you free –and indeed the truth did set him free! Praise God!

Confess –claim the truth as your own, whether good or bad, claim the truth and be set free in Jesus! We prepare for success in this world –and not always well I might add; but are we preparing for failure? Think about this; how will you react when something goes differently than you hope or expect! How will you react? This is important to get deep into our heart to react with Christ Alive and living in our hearts! This is the power of the Holy Spirit who helps us! Thanks to the blood of Jesus and the resurrection of the Christ!

Our body will even manifest signs of stress which is caused from trying (excuse to fail) in human strength to conceal the truth to somehow hope to manipulate the truth to get away with something –if that were even possible, which it is not, because God sees all and nothing is hidden from his sight. We can delay, but we can’t hide from the truth!

Here is the mindless concern of the world, which is dread, fear and torment, but Jesus sets us free in the truth. Claim it! Claim the truth –whether good or bad, confess it and realize who your real enemy is!

My friends in Christ, I write to you –and to you who will come to know Jesus as your Savior. Pray for the Holy Spirit to come in you and trust God and walk in the truth! Be set free to live and live a well blessed life regardless of your circumstance!

God is always working on our behalf, but what we forget sometimes is the almighty in God who is holy! There are many spiritual forces out there in the world, but only God is Holy! We need to claim the truth and pray for the Holy Spirit to come into our spirit to help us and to comfort us. Jesus did not come to condemn us, but to save us from the spiritual death!

Come alive dear church in Jesus and rejoice in the Truth! Please pray with me for the believers to receive the Holy Spirit. Pray for the darkness to be removed from those lost in the darkness –and pray for the light of God to replace the darkness that God will remove! I have no silver or gold, but I pray for the spirit of darkness to be removed and for the spirit of light to fill you! Stand firm with Truth buckled around your waist. The Truth is the Word of God and is the Sword of the Holy Spirit! Claim it!

A good measure of faith is ”TGIF” which stands for: “Today God Is First” –And, according to the Word of God, Today means every day as long as God calls it Today! See you on the other side one glorious day!

There is more than our human eye can see! Blessings of Grace, Peace and Joy in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord to you I pray. Amen.

Love in Christ,

Conditioned for a Response -How will you Respond? By, Karen Rowe 11Sept2015

Posted by Karen Rowe on September 11, 2015 at 9:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Good day to you!  I hope this finds you well. And, if not, I pray you find your strength in the joy of the Lord.  May I share a difficulty from my day with you?  I believe is a message from the Lord to, not only help me, but perhaps also this comes to you as an encouragement in how to overcome the frustrations that do come to us in this world.  The Lord will help us respond!  I thank God, He does!

I saw a rainbow last night and from my heart, I said; God is so much better than me!  And, I thank God He is helping me become better with each passing day!

Even this morning -I find both opportunity and temptation set be for me as I wake!

And, I remember the Scripture, "Set before you are life and death and blessings and curses..." God reminds us to choose life and to choose blessings. We can remember the power of patience and the power of responding by trusting God in the power of HIS love!

*Mediation Scriptures: 1 Co 13 + 1John 4:16

Frustration comes at us as a dart to make us scream, run, hide and hurl insult and blame when things don't go as we think they should.

The Drive Thru window may forget your favorite part of the combo at the most inopportune time.  Your computer may give you fits right after it was supposed to be restored.  Technolgy itself can be a blessing or a curse to us -depending on our use; and our response.  A member of your family may forget, and it is you who find the mess to clean up, but things are not always as they appear!

At a job site -don't be quick to throw in the towel, seek the will of God for you!  What does God have awaiting for you to find at the end of doing the right thing in the face of frustrations that come to you?  Stay hot after God and seek to stay on His trail!

A co-worker, a friend, a sister or brother; a mother, father, or a child; a pastor or a teacher or just a neighborhood next door acquaintance; a coach, a parent, a player, or the person in charge of making the weather calls at a sporting event; a fellow driver on the hwy or bi-way ... Regardless of our postion in this world, aren't we all people with flaws?  And, don't we all find a need for a Saviour?

I would love to say that I am perfect, but besides the fact that I am not; I prefer to admit to my weaknesses and reveal how God makes me strong to overcome emotional human nature temptations!  In the victory, Jesus enables us to see the treasures awaiting with Him at the end of God's rainbow, called Love!

A rainbow appeared last night over the ball field!  This was such a dramatic display of the power, perfection and the love and patience ..not to mention mercy of our loving Father in Heaven.  When we deserve something else instead, God paints a rainbow in the sky instead and teaches us by His Grace ...

How will we respond to God's Grace?

God is so much better at mercy, faithfulness, goodness, ... and patience than we are!  No matter what postion we take in this world as the person we choose to be, God is so much better at being good in everything than we are, but He loves us anyway!  And, to His glory, let's face it:  We love God because He loved us first!

Not forgetting that the world is a believer's enemy; and the devil will use even good people to innocently deliever his firery darts.  Yet, we can remember that in all things, God gives us an opportunity to see the temptation that is set before us; and an opportunity and challenge to our faith to respond with LOVE and respond by HIS grace!

Today, the Spirit of the Lord woke me up with the title of this message:  Conditioned for a Response -How will you Respond?  And, not soon after this opportunity to write on this, I was put to the test to see how I would respond!

Can I share how good Jesus is with you?  Today, in God's good mercy and grace, I have this opportunity to share with you how God enables me to overcome.  Following through with this assignment is the final portion, but the day will continue and I know I will always need to be covered by Grace.  Jesus is my help and my shield, and it is my job to say, yes Lord, I am listening and take that tme to hear.  It is my job to believe ...pray, and study God's Messages to me.

Here is the message God assigned to me today to more deeply learn:

Even this morning I find both opportunity and tempation set before me as I wake.

Frustration comes at me as a dart to make me scream and hurl insult, but instead I take a little walk with the Lord, from where my help comes from.

We have the opportunity to pause and have a little talk with Jesus in situations that come to us to face (not run from or dart away).  Each day, we have the opportunity to remember that we are being conditioned for a response ...How will you respond?

Rmember who you serve ...

and remind your self God is in control ...and open the WORD of God to gain insight into God's will for you.

Will you open your Bible with me to Psalms?  How about Psalm 5 "A Morning Prayer of Trust"

In my Bible, I underlined these words to condition my heart in God's will.

  • Meditation,
  • I will Pray
  • I will look up
  • I will come in thy mercy
  •  ... and in thy fear ...
  •  I will worship
  • Lead me
  • ...in thy Righteousness
  • ...Make thy way straight before my face
  • Let those who put their trust in thee
  • ...Rejoice
  • ...Shout for Joy
  • Let them also that love thy name
  • ...Be joyful in thee
  • For thou, LORD wilt bless the righteousness;
  • ...with Favour... wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

In His continued faithful mercy, the LORD reminds us to condition our heart each day with prayer and God's WORD, so that when opportunities come for a response, we will stop and remember the meditation of our heart and respond in the Name of Jesus with patience, peace, kindness and with authority that God is by our side.

Nothing is out of God's control ... even time is in God's hand.

Better is a minute in Gods' Grace prepared for the day, than an hour spent doing it our way.

God's Way is always sufficient in in Grace.  Pray, meditate on God's Word and know the power in understanding and praying the Lord's Prayer each day.

Grace and peace be with you in the Name of our Saviour and Lord, Jesus the Christ, who is the Son of the Living God.
